Our brand-new, spacious apartment offers one of the most spectacular panoramic views in Rio. A rare getaway in the hills just waiting for you to discover! With hot tub and stunning vistas of Copacabana and Christ the Redeemer, this 2-floor, 1-bed flat sleeps up to 4. Just minutes from beaches, bars and shops. It's tucked into the heart of Babilônia favela, a location popular with tourists looking to experience Rio beyond the usual. It's a great springboard for exploring the city.

Completed in March 2025, this airy, clutter-free space was created with care. Expect bold colours, feel-good energy, and the perfect setting for lasting memories.

The property is located at the top of the Morro da Babilônia favela.

🚶‍♀️🛵 A 10-minute walk or short moto-taxi ride takes you from the base of the favela to the stairway leading to the apartment.

🪜 Approximately 120 steps lead to the front door - a little climb, but don't worry you'll get used to it!

🚕Taxis, Uber, and 99 can bring you close to the bottom of the climb.

We welcome families with children aged 5 and above.
Due to safety concerns regarding the hot tub and elevated viewing deck, children up to 8 years old must be accompanied by two responsible adults.

⛰️ Morro da Babilônia rises above Leme neighbourhood. Like many favelas in Rio, Babilônia is a lived-in place. It's generally peaceful and welcoming, with a lively atmosphere, sometimes a little noisy, but always full of charm and the rhythms of life.

That said, it’s important to understand this is not a polished resort zone. Like many urban communities, the area has its share of everyday realities. You may notice some graffiti, rubbish, or the occasional dog mess.

🔐 Security in Babilônia is discreet and tourist-friendly, you will feel safe and at ease while out and about in the community during the day and evening.

And like the rest of the tourist areas in Rio de Janeiro, it's generally advisable to exercise caution and be aware of your surroundings at night.

🎶 Most weekends the area near the apartment features live samba music, local barbecues, and an open-air DJ party where both residents and visitors come together to enjoy the music and energy. You're always welcome to join in and soak up the vibes!

🏠 The property accommodates up to 4 guests. It's perfect for solo travellers, couples, or small groups/families seeking comfort, character, and a memorable stay.

❓IS THERE AN EXTRA CHARGE FOR MORE THAN TWO GUESTS?
⚠️ Yes.

❓DO I NEED TO PROVIDE GUEST INFORMATION IN ADVANCE?

❓WHAT HAPPENS IF SOMEONE UNREGISTERED ARRIVES?
🚫 If you arrive with someone who is not registered, or there are more than 4 people, entry may be denied.

Unregistered guests found on the property incur a fine of R$500 per person per night, plus the nightly rate per person.

❓CAN I INVITE FRIENDS OVER?
🏡 Yes! Friends are welcome to visit for a few hours.
Make sure the total number of people on the property never exceeds 4 at any time.

❓CAN FRIENDS OR VISITORS STAY FOR THE NIGHT?
🌙 Yes! But you must have prior permission.
Anyone staying between midnight and 8am is considered an overnight guest and must be approved in advance with the extra nightly rate paid.
Unapproved overnight stays will be fined as mentioned above.

❓AM I RESPONSIBLE FOR DAYTIME VISITORS?
✔️ Yes. Visitors are not covered by our insurance, so you are responsible for their safety and any damage caused.

❓IS THERE PARKING?
✅ No.

❓CAN I HOST A PARTY OR GATHERING?
🎉 No parties or loud gatherings allowed.
Social visits should end by midnight. Anyone staying past this time or arriving between 12am–8am will be treated as an unregistered overnight guest.

❓CAN I SMOKE OR VAPE IN THE APARTMENT?
🚭 No. This is a smoke-free and vape-free property.

❓ARE PETS ALLOWED?
