From the front of the building you can take a taxi ride or a bus trip to the city, or to sandy beaches, including famous Bondi.

Relax in comfort: In the living area, guests can relax on a large, comfy sofa to watch tv or listen to music.
Fully equipped kitchen: spacious for a small apartment, kitted out with SMEG appliances, a large island bench, gas cooktop and oven, full-size dishwasher and fridge, microwave and a SMEG toaster, kettle and espresso coffee maker. Cutlery, crockery, cooking utensils, kids dinnerware, and much more are provided. The pantry is stocked with lots of essentials such as cooking oil, condiments, rice, noodles, salad dressing and pasta sauce.
Dining: a dedicated space with a marble topped table and four black velvet chairs.
Bedroom: super comfy Queen-size bed, fresh linen, pillows, throw rug, cotton blanket and duvet. There are robes for hanging clothes and storing suitcases. Blackout blinds and double glazing add to a good night’s rest, as does being high above the hustle and bustle of the busy streets in this soundproofed building.
Bathroom: well-appointed with an oversized shower, plenty of cabinet space and shelving. There’s shampoo, conditioner, body wash, deodorant, toilet paper and cleaning products. Fluffy cotton towels and floor mat are also provided.
Internal laundry: Miele washing machine and dryer, a sink, iron and small ironing board.
Cooking at home? Coles supermarket and Woolworths Metro are close by, and Harris Farm supermarket is about 100 metres away. On Saturday mornings, there’s a Farmer’s Market down Darlinghurst Rd at Fitzroy Gardens selling everything from veggies and deli items to cakes, coffee and all kinds of takeaway food.
Looking for takeaway or home delivery? You’re spoiled for choice with everything from burgers and pizza to Vietnamese pho and poke bowls.
Dining out? Great food abounds from fine dining to tiny cafes. The best bars in Sydney - Some with cabaret, live music and revues. Everyone knows that the Potts Point/Elizabeth Bay area has been famous for nightlife for decades, but did you know you’ll be staying in one of Sydney’s epicentres for fabulous food and drink, and most within a five- to 10-minute walk.
Check out the streets in and around Darlinghurst Road; call in to Llankelly Place; Macleay Street for fine and casual dining; restaurants and bars in Kellett Street, Challis Ave, Roslyn St, Victoria St and lots of other laneways and little streets throughout the district.
A 20-minute walk (or short taxi ride) takes you to the swanky restaurants on the Woolloomooloo Finger Wharf, or head in the opposite direction to Oxford Street and the famous pub restaurants of Paddington.
Sightseeing Being so close to Sydney Harbour, the apartment is a short neighbourhood walk to Embarkation Point overlooking the Botanic Gardens and Woolloomooloo; and Elizabeth Bay marina, cafe, playground and Beare Park are nearby.
Beautiful harbour beaches such as Murray Rose/Redleaf pool at Double Bay, Neilson Park at Vaucluse. And further there’s Parsley Bay, iconic Bondi Beach and Camp Cove near Watsons Bay. All are easily within reach by bus or taxi.
Rushcutter’s Bay Harbourside park is less than a 10 minute walk from the apartment. It has several cafes and two children’s playgrounds. It’s also home to the Cruising Yacht Club (CYC), starting point for the world-famous Sydney to Hobart yacht race held on 26 December. From here you can charter a yacht, hire a dinghy or explore the many bays and beaches by canoe or kayak.
Heading towards the city, you’re not far from the Art Gallery of NSW, Botanic Gardens, the unmissable Sydney Opera House (about 45 minutes on foot via the Gardens or 5 minutes in a taxi), Circular Quay where ferries come and go from all points around the harbour, and The Rocks. Favourite ferry journeys include Taronga Zoo, Manly and Watsons Bay.
Further on from Circular Quay is Walsh Bay, home to the Sydney Dance Company, Sydney Theatre Company, fantastic restaurants, cool bars and stunning views.
Heading east from Potts Point, you’ve easy access to ocean and harbour beaches and bays, as well as the stunning Bondi-Brontë-Coogee coastal walk.
Work trip Walk to the city? Easy! Or hop on a bus outside the apartment building door- or catch a train - and you’ll be there in minutes. Bus to the University of Sydney? A 25-30 minute ride. St Vincent’s Hospital is just 10-15 minutes away by foot, as is the UNSW’s College of Fine Arts. The Sydney train network reaches commercial centres in places such as Parramatta, Chatswood and North Sydney. Or work from the apartment! Getting online is no problem with high-speed connection.
Work-outs Fitness First, Anytime, Barry’s Bootcamp and P.E. Department are just a few of the local gyms that are happy to welcome new guests. For yoga and pilates, there’s One Hot Yoga and Pilates, Bikram Yoga and KX Pilates.
Building access Access up the stairs or take the street level lift to the security lobby door. Your entry key will include a security swipe key to enter the building and to use the lift. Once inside, there is a security lift that will take you to your floor only. The building manager, whose desk is in the lobby, is available Monday to Friday from 7am until 3pm. Outside of these hours, there’s 24-hour building security. Please enjoy the entire apartment to yourselves. Please note: the apartment is for one or two adults plus one baby or toddler only.

Digital Sony Bravia Smart TV Black remote control for both free-to-air and streaming services.
Reverse-cycle air conditioning The control panel is next to the front door. Please remember to switch off when you go out.
Electrical switch box In cupboard on the left side of the cooktop.
Stove and cook top The cook top is gas. The oven is electric.
The dishwasher is a new Bosch brand with easy to follow instructions. Dishwasher tablets are under the kitchen sink.
Washing machine Press the On button. Put one or two of the detergent sheets or tablets into the machine with your washing. Or use the liquid or powder in the dispenser. Shut the door, choose the cycle and press Start.
Tumble Dryer Try not to overfill. Choose your cycle, and press Start. Once it’s finished, it’s important to remember to empty water from the condensation container (top left), and clean the lint filter.
Steam iron and ironing board are in the laundry area, next to the bathroom.
There’s a small vacuum cleaner, mop and cleaning products.
Getting around
Parking No off-street available. Most street parking is available for one or two hours. Nearby there are 24-hour car parks at Secure Parking (9A Elizabeth Bay Rd) , and Bayswater Parking Station (33 Bayswater Rd). Or at Holiday Inn, two mins walk away.
Airport: Sydney Airport is 20 - 40 minutes away by taxi, or 35 minutes by train.
Taxi rank: directly outside the building on the right hand side as you exit
Public transport: A bus stop just outside the door for buses heading to the CBD, The Rocks, or in the opposite direction onwards to the Eastern Suburbs. A three-minute walk to Kings Cross train station. Buy an Opal card for hassle-free bus, ferry and train travel: they’re available at many convenience stores and newsagents, or purchase at Kings Cross train station. The cards are free but you’ll need a minimum top up value of $20 when you purchase from retailers or when using top up machines. You can also purchase Opal single trip tickets. Garbage There’s a small, lined bin under the sink for non-recyclable rubbish. To find the garbage chute, turn right at the apartment door. It’s down the hallway and then to your left in the Garbage Room. For recyclables such as cans and bottles, please go to the recyclables room, which is through the doorway past the garbage room.
