House in Lake Hawea, perfect for couples and families - short walk to the Lake.
Cuckoo's Nest sleeps up to six people in four bedrooms and is based in the quiet town of Lake Hawea. The House is situated on a large established section with great mountain views.
A very sunny and warm house with a heat pump (air-conditioning) and wood burner so you will be comfortable all year round.
With an open plan kitchen and lounge, the patio and garden are north facing which come off the living area. There is plenty of off-street parking available.
A short walk/bike takes you to the lake where you can enjoy boating, fishing and swimming (safe swimming zones along the lake front).
Biking/walking tracks run along the lake front and connect into Wanaka using the 'River Trail'. Wanaka with its many shops and cafes is a 15-minute drive away.
We have a storage area which you can use to store ski's, bikes and anyother equipment you feel like bringing. Please let us know at booking if you require access to this.
