Direct Halifax River Waterfront home. Short 5 min drive 2.6 miles to beaches! Spectacular views of Daytona skyline. Enjoy breezes, dolphin sightings on the intracoastal waterway throughout the day & nature from the patio and seawall (please note that we lost our dock during hurricane Ian so no longer have a dock).
Clean, private and safe home w/ 3 BR, 2 BA, equipped kitchen, laundry, dining, open living, sunroom & office spaces. Max guests allowed 6 (4 adults & 2 children).
Basic Cable & WiFi. Large driveway for your cars & toys!
Enjoy water sports or fishing off the seawall. Kayaks & paddle boards rented nearby or bring your own. Public boat launches just 1.5 miles away.
During median tide there is 3 feet of water depth. At low tide it’s approximately 2.5 feet of water and high tide about 3.5-4 feet of water.
Pets allowed (one dog under 65 lbs) upon pre approval and with a $150 non-refundable fee. No Smoking. Please note that event weeks require a 3 night minimum stay.

Perfect location, hip decor

Great stay.

All in all very pleased with the property and location. I loved being right on the water with a gorgeous view of the sunrise. The home was clean, and the kitchen was stocked. Would definitely stay here again.

Great rental

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Perfect location, not far from the center of everything. Nice big driveway to park our vehicles. Even enjoyed some fishing just a few steps from the back door. Will be booking this rental again during the summer and again for Turkey Rod Run.

Grad trip to Florida

I feel the photos need to be updated, and maybe mention the construction next door, but all of our concerns were dealt with in a very timely fashion, and the owner and hosts were absolutely awesome at communicating and doing everything they could to ensure we enjoyed our stay!

ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL

Couldn't have been any better! Located close to everything, beautiful backyard on the intercostal, private, cozy, just perfect! Home away from home. Hosts were attentive, even given our hectic schedule. A true gem ! Planning our next getaway around availability of this listing!

Great location

We came for a wedding there were 14 people in our group all staying at different locations. We were minutes away from everyone and close to every store we might need for last minute items. My only ask would be a full length mirror. Our event was formal and that would have been nice while getting ready.

Wonderful, relaxing atmosphere!

What a great home! Kitchen stocked well to cook, clean and a fabulous view. One red drum caught! I would highly recommend the home for a family who wants to be on the water without all the noise! Beach is less than 10 minutes. Host were fabulous. Will be back.

Perfect!

Home was exactly what we were looking for. Comfortably slept 6, 4 adults and 2 kids. Sits right on the river, so fishing was easy. We brought our boat and there was plenty of room in driveway for boat, trailer, truck, and 2 large SUVs. Home was equipped with all your kitchen basics, and beds were comfortable. I may have missed these in the pictures, but there were two couches that we weren’t expecting, so there was plenty of space to lounge and relax after a day on the water. Boat ramp was SUPER easy to get to, so while the dock is no longer there (due to storm damage), we had no issues taking the boat in and out at the ramp (about 1.2 miles away). Entrance to beach was also a short 2 mile drive. Publix about 1 mile away. Again, all very convenient. The Cuban restaurant at the corner was also a hit! Cafe Con Leche=😋 we would absolutely stay again! Thanks, Cori!!

Great location

Great location for Bike week. Driveway had plenty of room for our truck, 2 bikes, and 27 foot trailer with room to spare. Easily could have fit a second vehicle. The house was clean and very spacious. Bedrooms were good size with dressers and closets. 2 bathrooms -Small bathroom was sufficient enough space for a smaller person. Would not attempt to shower if you are tall. The bigger bathroom was perfect. Washer and dryer worked great. Yard was clean, beautiful sunrise over the river. Seashells on the seawall bottom! I would recommend to bring a pop up tent if you plan to spend a lot of time outside, as there is no covered area in the back yard. It faces east, so in the evening you'd have some shade from the house. Neighborhood seemed quiet, no problems there. Owner was in contact before, during, and after our stay. Overall great experience. Would stay again!

Great Trip!

This trip was great. George and Cori were super responsive. We loved the property. When you walk in the front door - you get an amazing view of the river. As a family, we had the best time and were super comfortable in the house. The location is great with a small latin cafe within walking distance that had great menu options. The house was super clean and had enough space for all of us to spread out and enjoy relaxing evenings. We can't wait to go again next year!

Biketoberfest Rental

We rented this property for the Biketoberfest weekend. It was fairly priced and reasonably close to the Biketoberfest activities. The property is located on the Halifax river. I enjoyed spending the early mornings and late evenings fishing off of the seawall. Parking was important to us. There is covered parking for three bikes. The concrete driveway is very large and can easily accommodate three trucks and trailers. The host was outstanding. He replied promptly when I sent him a message. The house was clean and comfortable. We had no issues. Highly recommend and would definitely rent from again.

Great place!

This is the perfect pet friendly Vrbo! We had family staying in a hotel at the beach only 10 minutes away so this was perfect for us with our dog. Cafe con Leche has a walk up window with amazing breakfast burritos right down the road. The house is well kept with everything we needed.

Intercoastal view in South Daytona

The property has a beautiful view of the intercoastal waterway. Only a few miles from Daytona attractions. Easy communication with property manager. Easy check in and check out procedures.

Great vacation

Visited Daytona for the Turkey Rod Run and a nice getaway from life. This property delivered. They provided all the essentials; the house was clean, comfortable and spacious. Will most definitely return.

We love to host and have been offering our Casita in Rancho Mirage, CA with superhost status for 5 years now. We would like to now share our direct waterfront home in South Daytona and hope you will enjoy it too!
The home is spacious and comfortable near all amenities and truly just a few minutes to beaches, just over the Dunlawton bridge. 2.5 mile drive and you are in the ocean! We may not be on the beach but you can't beat the water views, Daytona skyline, cool breezes and seeing dolphins throughout the day. We are right in front of the underwater boat canals that dolphins love to use and you will see them coming and going in pods through the day. The sunsets are spectacular and the breezes non stop. Truly relaxing and enjoyable. Our neighbors are friendly. Please come stay with us!
