Located in the Villages of Ocean Hill, the last paved neighborhood before the 4x4 beach.
Ground Level: This floor enters into the rec room that offers a mini fridge, microwave, 42' flat-screen TV, sitting area, pool table and a half bath.

Mid Level: This level offers 4 bedrooms and an office. There is a Queen Master bedroom with deck access, flat screen TV, full bath with shower stall only. There is another Queen Master bedroom with deck access and a sunken tub/shower. A Full bedroom with a pullout Full Trundle and full bath with shower stall only. A Master with 2 Twins and full bath. The laundry room is also located on the Mid Level with a large front load washer and dryer.

Top Level: This level features an open great room, a 52' flat screen TV, stereo, DVD player and a nice selection of DVD's, coffee bar in kitchen with mini fridge, nice air-conditioned sunroom off kitchen with table and chairs to seat 4, deck access with picnic table and gas grill. There is a table to seat 6, bar seating for 6, and additional seating in the elevated breakfast nook, which also has a Twin sleep sofa. Enjoy great views of the ocean and the Corolla Lighthouse through the telescope! You will also find a Queen master bedroom on this level with ocean views, flat screen TV, deck access and full bath with shower stall only. This level also includes a pantry and half bath.

Amenities: Hot Tub, Multiple Flat Screen TVs, DVD, DVD Library, Gas Grill, Stainless Steel Appliances, sunroom, Telescope, Office, Wireless Internet. Beach Access: Approx. 300 ft.

Amazing location!

Our family of 12 stayed at this property for a week and we couldn’t have enjoyed our stay more. The location and proximity to the beach and pool was perfect. This is one of the few properties in the general area without a private pool which meant we got to enjoy the shared pool located beside the beach access walkway largely to ourselves all week. The walk to the beach was super quick and convenient. The house had a great selection of books, puzzles and dvds. There were also 5 beach chairs which was a nice bonus! Use of the gym and amenities there (pickle ball courts/ paddles etc) is an extra fee. Lots of shopping, grocery and restaurants were nearby, but also having such close proximity to the 4x4 beaches made having a more remote experience possible. Truly the best of both worlds. The home itself was well appointed and had everything we needed to make multiple meals. We enjoyed all the bonus rooms especially the loft for doing puzzles. The trundle bed, if used made the one bedroom a pretty tight fit, but was still manageable. There is not a lot of drawer storage in the second floor bedrooms, but closets were appointed with plenty of nice hangers. Everyone in our party agreed this is possibly the best house we’ve stayed in at OBX! Beds were comfortable and porches were great to enjoy the ocean breezes all week!

Great family home

A space for everybody . There is no sofa bed except for the chair in the upper loft that pulls out to a single bed. The water pressure is very minimal. Several of the lamps over the beds are very loose. There are family games & movies galore. The internet was great. Beach chairs and umbrellas for your use are provided. Golden hour on the deck was awesome. Location to the beach was awesome and location to the 4x4 beach was very convenient.

We had a great time at Corolla's Longue Vue home! There were a few items that needed fixing, but the rental company fixed them quite quickly. A few other small details: there were no pot holders in the kitchen, there was no blankets in one of the bedrooms, two of the doors were difficult to lock, there were a few broken blinds, the refrigerator in the kitchen had a few broken handles & shelves & the doors didn't shut properly, and the outdoor decks looked as though they were quite worn & untidy/never swept etc. Other than those minor details, we were quite happy with the house. It is very spacious & worked wonderful for our group, and the walk to the beach was perfect! We would rent this house again in a heartbeat!!

The house was a great fit for our needs.

There was food on the floor in the upper loft area - kind of gross and we needed more bath towels. Also, several guests got big splinters from the decks, perhaps they could get treated somehow. We understand they take a beating that close to the ocean, but attention to them is needed. The layout of the house was quite nice, our favorite of the others we have rented.

Perfect Vacation Home

The home is absolutely beautiful with many levels and amenities to enjoy. We really enjoyed the beach theme throughout the home. Each piece , hand selected and hung appropriately to match color schemes and furniture- there is such an overwhelming feeling of pure beach bliss when staying in this home- nice break from the hustle and bustle/monotony of life! We would stay here again. We would recommend that a binder of recommendations for places to visit/ restaurants to enjoy- be placed in the home with the house rules/safety suggestions. This well help travelers not familiar with the area feel more at home - and making planning a bit easier.

Longue Vue House

The house is beautiful,big and functional. The only drawback was the hot tub did not work and I spoke with the management company and called the maintenance number the first day we were here and no one responded-shame on Management. The views from the decks are spectacular and I would definitely stay here again.

Disappointed in the cleanliness

I stay at this property in 2019 and it doesn’t seem to have been kept well. Ants coming from private pantry and also seen in master. The master shower curtain was very pink with mold and there was mold on the blinds. There were also dead bugs at the back of the shower. In the kitchen- the drawer below the oven had a lot of food crumbs. The couches were pretty stained as were several of the bedding blankets. This was a great location that needs deep cleaning and some maintenance.

Awesome location!

The location to the beach and the community pool is awesome. The house amenities were plenty; from the number of TV's to the books to read, puzzles to do, movies to watch, games to play to the amount of beach chairs that we saw available as well as boogie boards and a bike to ride. The lay out of the house provided ample room for our group of 10, there were lots of bonus rooms that you could have many different activities going on at once if needed. Each bedroom having its own bathroom was wonderful plus there were 2 additional half-baths. The decor inside seemed pretty up to date and was very pleasing. The outside had a shower you could rinse off in and even had an outside toilet. The coffee maker had a hand written note on it that stated "it leaks" but there was a keurig machine that worked well. The negative would be the house could have used a good inside cleaning. It is apparent that cleaning did not happen in back of chairs, behind furniture, corners in the ceilings, window sills, etc. There were used beer bottles found in bedroom drawers. There was a wine glass found with mold in it in the bar area of the kitchen. The bathroom with the sunk in tub had a moth problem! About 30 were killed. There was not a broom or a dust brush (but 2 dust pans) to be found to do light housekeeping inside such as sweeping up sand, crumbs, etc.. The outside of the property was very dirty - full of cob webs, spiders, dirty window frames, and not swept well. There was also a red trash can sitting on the driveway full of recyclables with a half full beer keg all week. All in all we enjoyed our stay, if it wasn't for the cleanliness issue I would have given 5 stars.

Perfect location

Wonderful location, beautiful home, could have been cleaner. The refrigerator was full of crumbs and obviously had not been cleaned out after the last tenant. The house had plenty of space for us all to spread out. Each bedroom had its own bathroom which made it convenient for everyone when returning from the beach. The attention to details of the beach theme was noticed and appreciated! Our favorite spot was the upper sunroom where we played OBX-opoly!

Week at Corolla

We had a great time. The weather was ok, but we enjoyed our vacation. The only thing that bothered us was the amount of dog hair that was everywhere and then got on all our stuff. Other then that, the house was really nice. Thanks
