The perfect vacation home for families and especially for golfers, who receive a discount at The Currituck Club.! This home is located semi-oceanfront and could not be any better for enjoying all the amenities located within Corolla Light. This fine home overlooks the oceanfront pool complex, with an ocean view. You have only a short walk to the tennis courts, playground, basketball courts and beach. Complete with its own private pool and hot tub, your Outer Banks stay will be the most enjoyable vacation possible.

Ground Level: Has a large rec room with half bath, 47' TV, full-size refrigerator, and a foosball table.

Mid Level: Has 2 King main bedrooms with TV, a room with 2 Singles and TV, a room with 2 Bunk sets and 2 full baths.

Top Level: Has a great room with fireplace, 55' TV/DVD, stereo system, a dining area, a kitchen with a pantry, a King main bedroom with 36' TV/DVD and a half bath.

Amenities: Private unheated Pool, Hot Tub, Fireplace, WiFi, 5 TV, DVD, CD/Stereo, Games/Books, 2 Refrigerators, High Chair, Hammock, Bike Rack, Fish Cleaning Table. Beach Access: 180 Yards. The HOA offers trolley service from Memorial Day to Labor Day.

Three oceanfront Pools, Lighted Basketball & Shuffleboard Courts, Game Room & Playground, 8 Outdoor Tennis Courts, sound-side Pool, Sound-front Pier, Indoor Sports Center w/ 8 Lane Lap Pool, 2 Racquetball Courts, 2 Indoor Clay Tennis Courts, Exercise/Fitness Room, Game Room, 12P Spa, and Locker Room w/ Saunas. Reduced Green Fees at The Carolina Club & The Pointe Golf Courses. Corolla Light is a Private Community that Requires Guests to Wear Wristbands to Access Community Amenities. Things to Know
This property is managed by Vacasa North Carolina LLC
You will be required to sign an additional lease agreement upon making a booking which will be sent to your email. You will not be able to check in until we have received your signature electronically.
Fireplaces are available from November 1st through April 1st.
Private Pool Dates: The private pool is open May 1st through October 15th. The private pool is unavailable outside of these dates.

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The pet fee is per stay and ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 3 vehicles.

Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.

Great vacation home

Corolla light planned activities, club house , pools, lunches, nearness to beach. Great family fun with house games, private pool, and fully equipped kitchen. Everyone was happy and comfortable,even the dogs.

Complex was great and I could see how this would be a fun place in the summer. Needs a lot of repairs, several basketball backboards missing, but we were there super early and likely the repairs hadn’t been made yet.

Love this place

2nd time in this house. House location, community, and accessibility is phenomenal. House has some rough edges (cleaning)and honey do's that could use some attention, but we love it there. Upgrades to rear deck/pool and exterior rail painting were great improvements. Look forward to next year!

Great house with minor issues

The house was a great size, and we loved that every bedroom could have its own bathroom. The kitchen is large with a lot of counter space, the living room has plenty of seating, three king beds is a huge plus, and the pool deck has ample space. The walk to the beach was easy, and there is access to many amenities. I’d definitely return. That being said, the house requires some upkeep to fix some cosmetic issues and some worn/ outdated areas. None of the outdoor lights worked nor did the garbage disposal. We only stayed for a weekend and did not contact Vacasa about getting those things fixed, so hopefully those things would be addressed if requested. There were no issues that were not fixable or that would deter us from returning.

Great location- Needs UPDATING

Location was prime - right near sports courts, park, community pool and beach. The house needs updating especially bathrooms (mold on shower curtains and ceiling) - very tiny and I’m a small person. Rugs everywhere which make for dust, sand and dirt everywhere.

Awesome Place

Love the house, love the community, and especially loved the accessibility to beach/ocean. Just a little nitpicky but some cleanliness things here or there and problems with the tvs in the 2nd floor bedrooms. Dead batteries missing remotes etc, but not really impactful as only usage would of been before bed. Would 100% stay here again and recommend this house.

Great location

Couldnt be closer to the ammenities at corolla light. Good size, nice layout, outdoor shower, pool, hot tub all were nice features. Deck a little dated so where your shoes to avoid splinters. Vacasa was very responsive to all of our needs

Corolla Light is Far Away and Super Congested

House, facilities, and beach were great, but having stayed in Duck and Kitty Hawk in the past we were both surprised and disappointed at the congestion and traffic on Rt. 12. It took over two hours to go 20 miles on changeover day after a 5 hour drive to get to the bridge. Kids and adults were tapped out. We enjoyed our stay once there, but in the future we'll look to stay elsewhere due to the over-development in Corolla.

Perfect location but property needs deep clean and updates

We had a wonderful stay at this property, the location could not be more perfect for families with young children because the playground and beach are just steps away! However, the state of the house is disappointing. The property is not well maintained. We don't mind dated, but the house is in great need of a deep clean and some updates. Some examples: there were pieces of trash under some beds, the table top was so sticky we had to scrape paper off of it, mould around vents... Once again, we had a great time, we just think the house has a lot more potential.

Great house, great location, overall great experience.

We had an overall great experience with this house and location and will definitely consider renting it again. It was perfect for our family, close to the beach, and close to the sports facilities. It would have been exceptional if the following items had been different: 1) Vacasa does not provide a local assistance number to reach the local office right down the street and unless you know the name of someone in the office, it is close to impossible to get connected with them. Easier to walk over to the office. All calls for anything get routed through a toll free number and wait times on hold sometimes were longer than simply walking over to the local office where the people were SUPER helpful. I give an A+ to the staff in the local office at the resort but a C- to the toll free phone system. 2) the wheel mounts on the bottom rack of the dishwasher were broken so the wheels wouldn’t stay on and you had to put them back on every time you pulled out the rack to add a dish. If you didn’t catch that they had fallen off, the rack rested on the spray spinner and the dishes wouldn’t get clean. By the end of the week we had had all we could take with the dishwasher. 3) the cover for the hot tub was severely waterlogged and weighed over 150 pounds. Not safe for most people to lift alone and not safe to leave off once it was off. Pool guy said it has been this way for a couple of years. 4) multiple lamps with either broken shades or broken switches so were essentially useless. 5) if you are a foodie, bring your own set of knives as all of the knives except one in the house are too dull to cut anything. 6) the under counter ice maker is broken and doesn’t make ice. We didn’t need it so ended up turning it off because it was just making noise. 7) black mold on some vents and around top of walls in master bath shower area.

The Good and Bad

Nice place, close to a lot of amenities and very safe with ocean view close by. Major concerns were amount of dirt on many of the floors mostly under rugs and kitchen. Had to ask and they were very responsive in cleaning the floors again. However under the rugs were not swept. Had blocked drains in the bathtub that they were prompt in fixing. Mold noted in vents on a couple of bathrooms. That is concerning. Shower curtain had to be changed as well for mold issues. Bugs and spiders all around the deck on second and third floors. Near the pool area. Was told they power washed a week ago. Deck worn out with nails sticking out ( can be injurious)

Nice Home. Perfect Location.

The layout of this home and its proximity to activities can't be beaten. It's in the heart of the resort and our teenage kids enjoyed it. The home was a little worn...although liked the living room furniture...but for a rental it was nice. The deck may leave splinters so wear shoes. We had a few issues with lights around the pool. They didn't work despite our call for help but the second floor outside lights were fixed within the hour of our call. The home is perfect for families who like their own bedrooms and bathrooms. This is our 7th home we rented in this community and is by far one of our favorites. We really enjoyed the people who worked at this resort. They were all American kids who were doing internships. A nice change from what we've seen in years past.

Our favorite Corolla house

Lovely home with ideal location! Very clean with lovely decor. Steps from the resort complex and path to the beach. Loved sipping coffee on the deck while listening to waves! We hope to return. Only suggestion would be refreshing the master bedroom mattress. Otherwise it was a perfect stay!! One of our favorite vacations in the Outer Banks despite a few days of rain. Thank you!

Spacious but dated home, poorly maintained

First the good stuff - this is a spacious home in a beautifully maintained, safe, dog friendly, community. Lovely ocean views from the 3 rd level. Easy access to a great beach. Plenty of towels provided and beds were made. Kitchen was well stocked with utensils. Hot tub was great. The not so good stuff- sloppy cursory cleaning, crumbs in kitchen, used washcloth in shower. The home has popcorn ceilings, peeling wall paper, laminate counters. The 2 nd floor is musty. Deck on third floor is splintering and has rusted nails. The weather was chilly snd no comforters were provided. We took our own. The most frustrating bit was communicating with Vacasa. Vrbo list this property that is managed by Vacasa . You will not be dealing with owner or property manager who has any direct knowledge of property. Vacasa took days to reply to queries posted on VRBO. I will never rent a property managed by Vacasa , they are extremely disorganized.

Blissful Week at High Adventure

What a lovely home situated in a prime location in Corolla Light. With three teens and a dog, we were next to an open field, basketball and shuffleboard courts. A quick walk to the beach, wonderful seaside restaurant, what more can we say? We want to come back very soon!

Family Trip

The house was fantastic, great view, clean, furnished well. Very surprised to find so much beach equipment handy. The neighborhood was quiet, with other events close by.

Corolla Light

We had a great time during our stay. Great location and great for kids. One thing I will say there needs to be some time spent on general maintenance of the property. Smoke detector batteries were dead, pool lights did not work outside or inside the pool. We used flash lights at night for the kids to swim. The ladder going into the pool was not even hooked up because of a rotten board (someone could get hurt). The trees around the pool need to be trimmed back so pine needles didn't need to be cleaned out daily. All the deck in general needs boards replaced, nails nailed in and painted. The master bath shower had mold on the shower curtain and walls. I'm not picky, just trying to help for future renters so they want to come back.
