Tough check in, good location
I’d say the check in process was very difficult. Neither me or my taxi driver could find it until the 3rd pass. No one there to meet you, no front desk. Entrance from the busy street is just one door, and it had a combination lock on the inside of the door. You’ve got to reach in through a hole in the gate to dial in the combination. If it’s dark and you’ve had a couple drinks… good luck.
The room was like a large, well appointed jail cell - about 10’x12’. One small window without a view. A clean full size bed. TV and AC worked great, but no hot water. If it were low season and a screaming deal - I’d know what to expect, but it was Christmas, and I paid top dollar. The staff was great, but no front desk and tiny, overpriced rooms. Right across from Witches Rock.
