loss of internet
This was a golf vacation for me and a working vacation for my partner. The internet started sporadically dropping off line after 11 days of our stay. For 2 days she was dropped off several zoom calls and loosing spreadsheet data she had spent hours working on. We called internet provider found out router equipment was 6 years old so I drove over and picked up new router and modem. The property manager arrived and after several hours got service started again. Later that evening internet went down again. This became an unacceptable situation. She had been working on this project for over 6 month with scheduled completion date the following week. Work came first and this put her in a very stressful position. She felt she had to drive home to work in the office in order to complete this project, which she did the following week. She drove home after a 2 week of a scheduled 1 month stay. I would have returned with her but our friend was already scheduled to fly down for a visit and I wasn't going to make him cancel his trip due to our problem. I had to rent a car for that week and ended up driving back home after our friend left. The owner offered no refund for either our shortened stay or car rental.
