Check-In Mix Up

Vistas on the Gulf was pretty nice. The office staff was very helpful. However, the apartment we booked ended up being double-booked. As we were second to arrive, we never got to see the actual condo we rented (so, please disregard the "Accuracy of Online Listing", because I have NO idea). Check-in was a bit tricky. However, the host and the staff jumped into action and found us two different units that we used for our stay. We enjoyed our time there.

We loved everything about this place! Perfect size for our family of four, beautiful gulf views and sunsets, and great restaurants that were close. We would love to stay here again. Favorite vacation ever!

Wonderful stay

Our stay at Vistas on the Gulf was very relaxing! The steps to the beach or pool were few and the hardest thing was choosing which we wanted… Beach or pool?? Just like paradise! A delightful Week was had!

Was just what we needed

Place is super clean and updated. Any issue we had was resolved with property manager that is on site daily. Perfect location on Gulf Blvd. Woke up and was able to walk right out to the ocean and watch the dolphins. Cannot say enough good things and hope to go back again soon. Owner was very responsive to questions

Good location Comfortable but major appliance issues

We stayed at the condo for 5 nights during christmas week. Overall I was happy with the location of the unit which is right on the beach and close to amenities. For the location I thought the price was fair if everything was working as advertised. My major issues with the unit were that the kitchen appliances were leaking to the point that we had to have towels on the floor at all times to capture the water. The refrigerator was the major leakage problem, but the dishwasher also had its issues. Management knew of the issues and the owner knew of the issues, but I was not informed of the issue even when I checked in. Given that there were literally no other units and we had flown in for the week we ended up staying. It would have been nice to know that such major disruptions were going to have to be tolerated. I think it would have been more professional to at least let us know what we were getting into. I have been renting houses all over the world for 20 years and I understand that there is currently a supply chain crisis which would make it more difficult to get the refrigerator that you want. It really isn't my problem that it was sitting in a warehouse in NYC. I was a full freight paying customer at one of the most expensive times of the year and I ended up washing dishes and mopping the floor all week long. Not what I had signed up for. I was there to relax. I would have appreciated the heads up and perhaps a discount from the owner since they knew there were issues before we checked in.

Great view and wonderful stay!

The condo was great and as advertised. The check in and out process was smooth. Good kitchen amenities, fast wifi, access to the beach. Cute beach decor and comfortable beds.

The apartment is nicely decorated with a beautiful view to the beautiful beach with white sand.

Great communication with the rental office. Very fast check in. Apartment was clean and comfortable. We will definitely be back.

Great Place and Great Owners/Management

This was the first time I had book a room this way so I was nervous. You know how places never look as good in person etc. As soon as I booked I got a call from the owner and she was very sweet. She put my mind at ease immediately. This was an important family trip and I wanted it to be a good one. The unit was exactly as it was pictured, it was very clean and comfortable. The pool was very close to the room and the pool area was nice and clean as well. The beach was just steps away and was super nice! The location was convenient to about anything you could want. Overall great time, place, and would suggest this place to anyone.

Senior Trip

This was the perfect location to celebrate our daughter’s graduation from high school. The condo was clean and had everything we needed with easy access to the beach. Great property and location.

Great owner, slow the check in to actually clean the units**

We’ve stayed at Vistas before, and love the location. After arriving in the unit, while it looks clean at a glance, it was not. Our feet were black from the floor within minutes and it felt run down. I contacted the owner who rectified the problem and had cleaners come back into the unit. Once re cleaned, it was much better. The units are turned over quickly and for time sake the cleaning is being skimped on, to the detriment of the unit. The grounds of Vistas are very well kept and cleaned thoroughly daily. This unit was very well stocked in the kitchen, had a newer washer/dryer unit, cooler and beach umbrella. The owner was extremely quick to respond and very pleasant to work with. We would definitely stay in this unit again. Hopefully Vistas owners see the comments across all the units having the same complaint about the lack of cleaning and take action.

A short getaway

Loved everything about this property! Steps away from the beach, beach chairs provided by owner for use, beach towels available for rent, personal assigned parking spot, close to lots of restaurants and stores. Would definitely stay again!!!

Great location

This was a great location. We did need the blinds fixed, which was taken care immediately. A few minor upkeep items would have made it a bit more comfortable but nothing significant. It was a relaxing stay. The on-site management was very responsive and friendly as was the property owner. We headed to the beach, steps away, everyday. The yellow cabanas were reasonable. We enjoyed the sunset several evenings at Sandbar Bills (great burgers!) easy walking distance from condo.

Great location. Not so great amenities.

The location was fantastic. Walk to the beach access. The apartment was decorated very cute, but the wear and tear was obvious too. There was makeup smeared on the door jam and the age of the bathroom and fixtures showed. We travel and stay in VRBO properties 6x a year or more. I strongly appreciate and give better reviews when little details are attended to. In this case, the towels were thin and not of good quality. I was also disappointed that beach towels were not provided, nor were there single use toiletries, detergent or local guide brochures. Experiences are made in the details. Overall, had a lovely time. Would have preferred better attention to detail for guests.

We loved our stay. Condo was very clean and so was the complex. The outdoor bathroom by the pool was spotless. The condo was decorated very cute and furnishings in good shape. Great location and beautiful beach . We would stay there again

nice unit in the vistas, beachy feel.

place is decorated nicely,(cute, tastefully beachy ) and clean., convenient to pool and beach. View is great! beds were very comfortable and the communication between owner and office manager was good. Front desk property mng, Emile was very sweet. Overall, we loved the place; however , a few things were in need of attention, and this was shared with Emile and the owner. Master bedroom shades need to be replaced as there are several slats missing; the main shower curtain rod fell twice and we stopped using the shower.; needs to be replaced. Overall, The bathroom and curtain are beautiful, and look newly updated. the fridge is leaking. Dining table is a nice size and comfortable. Would be helpful to at least have salt and pepper and sugar; there are no spices. There are plenty of glasses, dishes and beach chairs and towels available . There is a grocery store, walgreens , and beach eateries close by. The other guests were friendly and respectful. Nice crowd here! I would return to this unit and the Vistas.

Amazing vacation!

We had an amazing time here. The owner was so helpful, patient and friendly with my booking process, checking in and gave me so many wonderful suggestions for my daughters and I to do while we were there. The location is perfect. The pool is right outside the balconies, but everything shuts down early so no noise at all at night. The condo had everything we needed and more. Gorgeous views, a short walk to the beautiful beach and so many things to do and places to eat. 💯 we would love to come back, and will. If you’re on the fence about booking, so it! This is a perfect place, and again the owners are amazing.

Property had everything as advertised! Very clean, close to beach, great property management and very responsive owners with questions. Bonus appreciation for the beach chairs and toys already there for our use!

Traveling with three young kids isn't always relaxing, but being at vistas makes it a breeze. The pool is never crowded, the beach is just steps away so your little ones can change their minds at a whim and you are never tied to one location. If you have older children, being just above the pool gives you the flexibility to move back and forth from the pool to the unit with ease and peace of mind. The property is quiet and never over-crowded, located near a grocery store to cook on the multiple gas grills and dine in a covered dining area, while enjoying the after dinner sunset. The many permanent residents gives it a home-like, friendly feeling, unlike the many high-rise buildings you find in southern Florida. The management company is clean and responsive and the units are well appointed, which makes packing for vacation a breeze. Being close to grocery stores, playgrounds and Johns Pass makes Vistas a convenient location for all your needs. On rainy days, you are a quick drive to Tampa with museums and shopping. For an even greater excursion, you are not far from Disney.
