Dated Lark near the Lake
Rating Details:
The property manager was more than helpful.
The vacation rental was very clean.
I was very happy with the location.
I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.
Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental.
Reviewer Comments:
We stayed five days in this property that was reminiscent of the 70's. Surprised to find one bathroom for the three bedrooms on one level and another bathroom on a level where there were no bedrooms. Even worse, the diverter for the shower stall on the bedroom level broke the first morning and was not repaired, but taped over. The expectation seemed to be that all six of us would be using the one shower on the level where there were no bedrooms. Would have expected the owner/manager to propose some sort of accommodation for us--there was no communication. There were six of us on the reservation, there were four sets of towels, etc., we had to request two more--which were quickly delivered. The unit was clean when we arrived and appliances all worked. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils, pots/pans, etc. We had access to the private beach. We made use of the pingpong table on the lowest level. Parking was easy. BBQ was operative. Site is situated in the Homewood/Tahoma area and was quiet with convenient access to both Tahoe City and South Shore. The grandkids were appreciative of having access to Netflix. There were a few board games for play in the evenings. Overall, the property needs some work, but was OK for our purposes.
