Tradewinds 002 may only have one bedroom, but the addition of a sleeper sofa and the bonus bunks in the hallway alcove make it the right size for six guests. Amenities including free WiFi and a washer and dryer ensure you’re taken care of for the duration of your vacation. When you aren’t out sampling the fresh Gulf cuisine at local Orange Beach restaurants, stock the kitchen with your favorite snacks and dazzle everyone with your culinary skills. A perfect location with a beautiful view.

We had a great time and the with the location being perfect. 1st floor with easy access to the pool and beach. The unit was clean, the beds were comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.

The beach is always great!

Love the first floor! No trips waiting on the elevator. Nice pool and easy beach access. The condo was fine- needed some TLC. The walls need to be painted , the WiFi was spotty. But ultimately, we were there for the beach- which was perfect!

Great for small family!

This was a last minute find for Spring Break and it was perfect for our family of 4. Our kids are 4 & 6 and it was wonderful being on the ground floor close to the pool. We really enjoyed our stay, and would definitely stay again!

Not as expected

The property needs some TLC. The king size bed is VERY firm. We booked this property because it was ground level and we thought had pool access from the patio but it did not. The patio didn’t have a gate so you still have to walk around to get there. Biggest complaint is the noise level. This unit is right outside the elevators and you hear people coming and going all night. The dryer needs replaced. You have to run at least 2 cycles to get anything close to dry.

Needed a maid, I paid for it BUT I did the work.

Good afternoon, We left our condo this morning about 10. Upon arriving at our u it the front door was filthy and covered with spider webs. When we opened the front door there where little black bugs all over the floor, Not to mention the floors all over the condo were filthy . I went to the store and got cleaning products . I scrubbed the bathrooms washed sheets scrubbed the front door, vacuumed and swept all the first afternoon we got there. This morning before we left I washed the sheets again and the towels, I did leave them in the dryer, but I bleached bathrooms, swept patio and condo before I left. This was a nice location but the bed in the bedroom was so uncomfortable we had to sleep on the couch. I cannot for the life of me understand all of the fees charged, when the gate to pool did t work for 3 days one of the elevators do isn't work and it was a holiday weekend, and I had to scrub the condo before we could unpack. I don't think we will be back or recommend.

Terrible Condo, Great property

The dryer takes two cycles for your items to dry. The front door wouldn’t lock and had to call to have it repaired. The back patio door does not lock. There is a large wooden rod to lay down to keep the door from opening. The top bunk in the hallway is dangerous and not to code. There is not a rail to keep your child from rolling off. I had to let my child sleep in my bed and I slept on the top bunk. The length of the mattress is 52” which is the size of a CRIB SIZE MATTRESS, NOT A TWIN SIZE MATTRESS AS FAUSLY ADVERTISED. I also can’t crawl out of the bunk bed or roll over without hitting the ceiling nor could my child. The bedroom mattress is VERY FIRM, and the bedroom window is directly in front of the elevators so you hear people coming and going all night. My biggest complaint is the VERY LOUD water trickling noise coming from a pipe in the hall closest. It was nonstop and extremely maddening when you are trying to sleep. I complained about the noise and they informed me there was nothing that could be done to stop it so they suggested I put a towel on the “slatted” door to muffle the sound. After calling Southern Vacation and VRBO to complain it stopped halfway through our trip. Needless to say we got very little sleep throughout our stay. The condo was a disappointment but property itself was very clean and nice. The security was constantly checking the grounds and vehicles. I would suggest staying here just in a different room.

Fantastic location, still needs a little work

The location was great! Not having to deal with elevators was awesome. Saturday night was a little noisy being so close to the elevator but the weeknights were very quiet. The beds were clean. The kitchen was clean. The place looked really nice. The negatives: No towel rods in the bathrooms to hang a hand drying towel. Had to kill several spiders a day and had to vacuum out a ton of cobwebs under the bunk beds. The washer is moldy. We had planned to wash swimsuits and beach towels before the trip home but decided not to because of the mold. The back patio door does not lock. There is a large wooden rod to lay down to keep the door from being opened but with a ground floor unit, I would have liked to have had a working lock on that door. The floor was dirty. The kids had black feet within an hour of arriving. We couldn't use the bedroom closet, there were step ladders and fans being stored in there. So as far as appearance, it looked nice, clean, and recently updated. We were comfortable. The beach was just footsteps from the unit. The location was great. Fix a few things and this could be an excellent unit.

Great place

Communication with Rental agency was excellent. Condo was exactly as pictured with great ground floor right outside pool and seconds from beach. Only one thing is the front door lock and the patio door lock could be updated for security reasons but there is a security guard on premises which is nice
