Silver Lining Cabin in the Black Hills near Mount Rushmore

Welcome to Silver Mountain Resort and Cabins. Silver Lining Cabin is one of seven that reside on our country property.

Silver Lining Cabin is an air-conditioned suite built in knotty pine. A unique loft with slanted ceilings, and very comfortable. It includes 1 queen bed plus a large comfortable chair that transforms into a small bed and a trifold sleeping mat (both ideal for smaller children). It has one bathroom with stand up shower, plus a mini-kitchen with mini fridge, microwave, toaster, hot plate, coffee pot and dishes. Relax on your own deck with table and chairs, gas grill and great views. Perfect for a romantic Black Hills Getaway or for a small family's Black Hills Vacation.

The Silver Lining Cabin is a cozy getaway in the middle of the Black Hills. It is close to all of the popular tourist destinations but sits on a quiet road away from the hustle and bustle of the tourist towns. Relax in the heated pool, grill up dinner on your unit's grill, and enjoy your private fire pit in the middle of the trees and peacefulness that make the Black Hills so special.

Contactless check-in with a lock box code provided prior to arrival.

Cute old motel

Stayed 2 nights. Wanted to be close to the Badlands. It was a little snug. Snacks were appreciated. Was easily able to get room supplies restock. Very limited dining option. An outdoor sitting area would be nice.

Great place

We loved our loft cabin. It was perfect for two people. The cabin was centerally located between all the major attractions. Great place to stay.

Silver Lining Cabin

We came to see the Buffalo Roundup, but to also spend a few days in the Black Hills before the roundup. This cabin was so cute. The accommodations were great. We ate breakfast out on the little deck every morning, used the grill for one evening meal. It’s got everything you need-towels, blankets, dishes, etc to make your stay so easy. We LOVED this little room. We had a single air mattress with for one adult to sleep on, but my son slept on the pullout chair and the extra fold out cushion for a little more support. It was a great location back off the highway. We enjoyed watching the grazing free range cattle. Just a perfect place for our stay. Highly recommend!

perfect out of the way place to stay while touring keystone and other attractions.

Small but adequate stay when you are not sticking around all day. Had everything we needed. Was grateful for the toaster oven for my leftovers. I was able to use the wifi for several hours of school work. Has a small table for desk area. Excellent bed and wonderful sheets. Good water pressure in the shower. Nice little heated pool. Loved the atmosphere and the beautiful views. So many trees. We LOVE trees. Just needed to continually air out the small place to stay ahead of the musty smell.
