Great place

Great however, a lady stopped in and opened the door, checking on condo to see if we were checking out. We weren’t to check out until the next day. She was a day early. Glad I was there. Did not like the fact that she unlocked and opened the door.

Beautiful view

The property is perfectly located. The view from balcony is amazing. But there are some maintenance issues that need to be addressed; over head light in 2 of the bedrooms did not work. The blinds in master bedroom need to be fixed. There was mold on shower curtain in the 2nd bathroom. The kitchen needs better stocking, only 5 forks, no baking sheets, no cutting board. Need lamps or some kind of lighting in den area. I would stay again if those things were addressed. Also need a broom & mop. Very difficult to clean up sand on the floor.

Amazing Trip!

We truly enjoyed our stay at Jade East!!! The location, amenities and amazing views are worth the trip. The water was the prettiest I’ve ever seen it! Only challenge we had was getting in and out of the facility without a traffic light, but it was manageable.

Jade East 850 fall break 2022

Lamps and ceiling lights would not work in any of the bedrooms. Laundry room and washer and dryer were dingy and dirty. Kitchen and and bathrooms were clean.

Definitely needs some TLC

The location of the property is great! It was clean but there were many things that needed attention. 2 out of the 3 bedrooms did not have working lightbulbs which made it very dark after the sunset. Some remotes needed batteries. The blinds in the master were very broken and would not open or close giving no privacy when people where out on the balcony. The toilets ran all night. The VRBO information gave check in at 3 and check out at 11. When the rental agreement came it stated check in at 4 or after and check out at 10. We had 3 couples staying, each with their own car. I looked everywhere to see if there was a limit to the parking spots and could not find anything on the VRBO listing or rental agreement. When we got to the property we were told that no more than 2 cars. Other vehicles would be towed. The grounds were very well maintained and the staff was friendly. The pool was crystal clear. The unit has so much potential but is way too run down.

The condo needs updated and alot of problems

The toilet tank water ran all the time ..ceiling fans had no pulleys or lights no ice maker .,no broom to sweep up ..the blinds were missing some and couldn't open and close ... Very disappointing condo ..the view was great and the pool was well maintained.. Didnt like had to remember a bunch of codes ...for entries.

the condo was spacious and the location was great. it wasn’t as clean as we had expected, the property owners were very hard to get ahold of when we had questions, and the email with info and instructions about check in and condo amenities were vague and not very helpful.

Great views

Very nice views of the gulf! Condo was comfortable, roomy, and clean. Pool was great, and so were the walks on the beach. Great restaurants: Mezcal Mexican Grill, Pazzo Italiano, Lucille's, Fatboys in Destin, McGuire's pizza and restaurant, and Tailfins. Very relaxing and the weather was lovely!

Private beaches suck

To many rules. Couldn't put up our tent. They had rental chairs everywhere. It was annoying. It was hard to bring your own stuff. Other then that it was nice.

Great location & easy access to beach

Check in process was very easy! Easy access to the beach! Only thing I have to complain about was that there was no trash can. Other than that it was a great location to stay with a family or friends!

Awesome but dated

Any communication with the rental management company before the rental was non existent. We were trying to extend the rental and tried email, text, and VRBO 3 times with absolutely no response. Once giving up and booking another place for one night, the check in here was flawless. The surprising thing-the kitchen was great-Subzero fridge, Viking oven, self closing cabinets and drawers. The bedrooms were another story-3” vinyl blinds with about 1/2 missing in master on the sliding patio door and the window. At one time there was fabric on the blinds but even that had worn off. If you had any thoughts of a dark room in the mornings, forget it. The furniture is MASSIVE and older in the bedrooms , so it takes a lot of room! The bed in one of the guest rooms is broken and the bed slanted. All in all, it was do-able. Good parking, beach access, pool access and fun. The TV’s were awesome. The owners could get a lot more rental $ and pay back their investment by updating bedrooms with smaller furniture and updated (!) sofas.

Beds were ok. Rest of furniture very uncomfortable. 3rd day was locked out at 11pm. Never got check in e mail. Sent several messages and calls went unreturned. Finally got a smart sleck on emergency number. No ice maker. No trash cans.

Never Book With Vrbo Are Best Beach Getaway Again

I Didn't get to stay at Jade East Towers 850 Because There Was A Issue With It Being Remodeled . I Had Already Booked It Sense February 7,2021 And Paid Full Price For 5nights . They Called Me One Week Before My Arrival And Said We Couldn't Stay There Because Of The Remodeling, I Needed That 3Bedrooms And 3Bathrooms Because We Were 3 Women Going On Our Vacation They Told Me That They Would Put Use In A Two Bedroom Two Bathrooms In Emerald Towers We Had To Take It Because We Couldn't Change Our Vacation Dates Due To Work This Ruined Our Vacation Because We Really Needed This 3 Bedrooms And 3Bathrooms . The Two Bedrooms Was Very Hard To Work Out Because Each Women Wanted There Own Bedroom And Bathroom . You Don't Wait Until One Week Prior To my Arrival Date To call Me With This News That We Couldn't Stay In The Condo That We Booked And Paid For Way In Advance. I Will Never Book With Vrbo Are Best Beach Getaway Again This Was So Wrong.!!!!

Beautiful condo unit. Building/HOA has drawbacks.

First timer in Panama City Beach. Usually we are further west. Beautiful, well maintained, modernly furnished and spacious condo. Really quite wonderful. Would really like to give 5 stars but there are some significant minuses associated with HOA / building / property: - gym only open to owners - no grills (gas or otherwise) on property - no beach loungers/umbrellas included with property .. I purchased 4 for the week at a total price of $432 ($216 a pair). I have traditionally found one umbrella and two loungers included with property. My bad that I did not notice this at booking. More of a heads up to future renters. - public beach in front of property .... basically meaning no restrictions on personal tents, umbrellas and chairs. I know this sounds elitist, however the issue is that folks (other condo renters) will setup right in front of your rented loungers and umbrellas. I guess more of a rude and inconsiderate renters issue though private beach restriction curb the inconsiderate behavior. I have included this in my location rating. - pool and spas close at 10PM. I get that this brings the noise to an end at 10Pm, however not having the flexibility of a late evening dip in the hot tub was a drawback.

Great location!

We stayed a week in this unit with another couple and had the perfect vacation. The weather was sunny and mid 80 s the whole week. The building itself was ver clean and well kept. The unit was clean and had tons of space. Nice equipped kitchen and lovely furniture throughout. The pool area and grilling area were great! The views from the balcony were spectacular! The only suggestion I would make is few more chairs for balcony since the unit does sleep 8. And the closet door in master bath needs to be repaired. Otherwise itis the perfect place to spend a vacation. We will definitely return. The Bracks
