Before we even left for our trip things started to mess up. The price and availability on VRBO were wrong. We ended up paying more each night we stayed and you were required to stay at least 5 days because of the holidays (it was after Christmas but before New Year's). When I mentioned this I was told I could cancel our reservation and the would refund our money. I couldn't find another place that would accommodate my family in so short of a notice that wasn't an arm and an leg.
The day we left I waited until 4:00 before calling to directions and four code. However our place was not ready and they couldn't give me the information. We were already in Pigeon Forge, so we decided to explore a little and go to the grocery store. The cabin wasn't ready until 6:00 which was two hours after check in.
Once at the cabin it was beautiful. Everything was great except the tv in the living room never worked. I called and reported it twice but nothing ever happened.
On the positive side the company called after check out to hear about our experience. I told them about the late check in and the tv. They reimbursed us 1/2 the money for our first nights stay.
Overall we had a good time and would stay here again, but not around the holidays.
