If you have ever been to Bald Head Island, you know what a special place it is. There are many environments, but the most special is our marsh. We overlook the tidal creek so the view changes constantly. You will never tire of just looking out and enjoying the view. Temporary membership to Bald Head Island Club is available with our property for extra fee. These memberships are limited in number and must be arranged with the Club directly. BHIClub.net.

Great place on the creek

We really enjoyed staying here. Close to the creek for fishing and crabbing and an all around great place to vacation. Would return again!

Perfect First Time Stay on Bald Head

We really enjoyed our stay at Pinch Me. We had plenty of room to spread out. The view of the marsh was beautiful and having the golf carts was not only convenient, but also necessary. We had everything we needed for cooking and for the beach. Our only complaint was having to lie down on the porch to access the key box. We had a great time!

Perfect place to reconnect with family!

Pinch Me was the perfect house for my family - it had tons of space for adults to chat while kids play, the kids had a blast catching fish and crabs (and releasing them) :) on the dock, and the entire family LOVED the view and taking an evening stroll down the dock to enjoy the sunset. The house is stocked with everything you need to enjoy gathering together for dinner and also heading out to the beach for the day. I can't say enough about this house, the location and the kindness of the owner. This house is PERFECT!

Happy Memories June 2023

Our family really enjoyed staying at "Pinch Me!" We loved gathering on the two porches and spending time on the dock. The grandchildren loved crabbing, and we enjoyed eating steamed crab from our catch one evening! Sunset on the dock one night was beautiful!! The beds were comfortable. The house is solid, allowing for quiet rooms for napping children without a need to hush. We cooked in, and the kitchen worked well. Hosts were great, golf carts worked well, good location for beach, Shoals, and market...all in all, we loved our time at "Pinch Me" on BHI!

Perfect Location and Space

We had a fantastic stay at Carrie's home. She was excellent with communication, always responding promptly and reaching out to remind me of upcoming payments, check-in procedures, etc. The neighborhood was great--not too far from the market or beach and quiet enough for kids to play in the yard and bike the streets without worry. The home itself was spacious, clean and had everything we needed from beach towels, chairs, kitchen appliances and tools, etc. We also rented an adjacent house since we were a big group and could not have been happier with how they were tucked back in the corner with their own access to the creek dock.

Very Responsive Owner

We had a very nice stay at Pinch Me. We had issues with questions about the hot water heater and golf carts not keeping their charge. I messaged her and she responded within minutes. We would stay there again. The location is close to East Beach and the market.

Family Vacation with Teens to BHI

Very clean; seemed to have everything we needed; Carrie and David were very responsive and gave us lots of info which was very useful since we were new to the island; our teens loved the bikes, the golf carts, all the different island ecosystems, wildlife, and the beach games; sunsets and sunrises on the marsh; and many other things I am sure I am forgetting. Getting on and off the island is a little bit intimidating, but the welcome packet supplies all the needed info and tip to make your travel smoother. Great time at pinch me!

Pinch Me is a great home that can easily accommodate larger families or groups. The home is exactly as described and is stocked with all the necessities. Carrie was flexible and easy to communicate with. The marsh views, bikes and golf carts were great! We would definitely come back.

The best view at BHI!

We rented two houses on the same row for our extended family, and it was the best BHI trip we've ever had. The sunsets on the pier were breathtaking, and we made use of the canoe and kayak that the house came with (make sure you time it with the tides!). The house itself is so lovely and solidly built, and the homeowner was wonderfully responsive and explained everything so well. Can't wait to go back. Thanks!

It was a truly “pinch me” experience

We stayed at Pinch and last weekend and so enjoyed our stay at this lovely home. It was clean and tidy and very comfortable and well organized. The owner was very accommodating and responsive in all our communication. The views out back on the private docks were breathtaking making us love BHI all the more. We will be back!! Thank you :)

Relaxing, comfortable, everything you need to just sit back and enjoy your family! My guys loved fishing right out back off the dock. Everything about BHI is just what you need it’s beautiful and relaxing!

Spacious and Beautiful Home 5-Minute Drive from Beach

This was a big and beautiful home for our family of 9 to stay on our trip to BHI. There was plenty of sleeping space for everyone, including a bunk room with 4 bunks, which the kids loved. The kitchen was modern and well-stocked, so we did some cooking as well as dining out. Very nice view of the marsh from the two back porches (one screened one open). This house is just a 5-minute golf cart ride to East beach, where the water was beautiful and there were nice waves. Homeowner was good with communication and with sorting out a problem with one of the golf carts. We would definitely recommend this home for your vacation!

Beautiful place.

We loved the location on the marsh and closeness to east beach. The teens loved the bicycles and rode everywhere we went from market to beach to just riding around. We loved our vacation. Cousins really enjoyed time together and plenty of room for all in the house.

Fabulous Location

We have stayed at a lot of places on Bald Head through the years. Keeper’s Landing is one of our favorite neighborhoods. There’s a wonderful view of the long pier from this property. The house is dated, so the interior is not knock-your-socks-off, but it is perfectly fine for a very comfortable stay at the beach. And it’s clean. I did recommend that lighting be added as it was somewhat dark inside. If you plan to do work, you might want to bring a portable work lamp. I ran into that situation. We also had a little snafu but in the end we worked it out with no trouble, and the owner is very attentive to all communication. The property is very well equipped and stocked. Would definitely recommend.

Fantastic second stay at Pinch Me

We have stayed at a variety of places around BHI each of the last 15 years. This property is definitely one of our favorites. It is well stocked, well cared for, great location, very peaceful!

Wonderful Stay

We loved our time at Pinch Me and it was a great location on BHI; so close to East Beach. The view of the marsh was beautiful and so serene. I typically like to be "on" the beach but actually found this location and view so lush and quiet that it was a nice break from the beach view - since we had been on the beach all day any way! House was great - really loved the floorplan and Carrie was easy and great to work with. Will definitely be back!

Best marsh view on the island

This lovely house is on the far end of the island in a small group of nice houses. Only a few have the view of this beautiful marsh. A boardwalk and long pier extend into the marsh, starting right in front of the house. Perfect for carrying a drink to the end of the pier to watch the sunset (or coffee to watch the sun rise ). A short bike ride (or golf cart) to East Beach. Couldn’t ask for a nicer house or location.
