Awesome View

A wonderful holiday at this Halfmoon Bay home. Everything was so clean, well organized and had every thing we could want and needed. The view was AWESOME looking over the water. We really enjoyed the daily visits from the deer families and other wildlife. It was well situated to beaches and Sechelt for any supplies. We would certainly like to visit this special place again.

Fabulous view

We found this property spacious, well-equipped, clean and comfortable. The outside spaces were perfect for our family. We played spike ball, bocce. We loved the hot tub and happy hour on the deck. The property is centrally located for day trips up and down the coast. Our only disappointment is the “waterfront” listing. It is extreme high bank and my adult daughter fell 3 times trying to get down so instead we drove to beaches nearby with easier access. All in all we loved the house, the view and location and we’d love to return.

Amazing ocean views

We loved our stay at Robyn's home! The view was amazing with a huge deck overlooking the ocean. The home was open concept and was very spacious. The kitchen was well stocked and we had everything we needed and more! We were even supplied with fans during the heat wave which helped alot. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back. Thanks for everything!

Amazing view

We had a fabulous stay. The views of the ocean and mountains were spectacular. Got to have our morning coffee in a tranquil atmosphere watching the deer graze in the yard and the eagles hunting for their breakfast. The house had everything we needed including puzzles that we tackled during a rain day. The fireplace added a special touch. Looking forward to coming back. Definitely 5 star accommodations.

Girls Getaway to the Sunshine Coast

Barooga was such a wonderful and relaxing holiday. Headed over to the Sunshine Coast for the 1st time on a girls trip and was absolutely delighted with the location, scenery and cleanliness of the property. Everything was in order and the view was absolutely amazing. The hosts were very lovely and responded to us very quickly if we needed anything. The hot tub was great and much appreciated after long days of walking and exploring the area. The beach is beautiful and we saw so many deer ambling through the neighborhood. Will definitely recommend this property to family and friends who want a relaxing getaway. Thanks again Robyn and John for sharing your space with us!

Great getaway spot

We stayed for 5 nights in late March. House was clean and spacious with a great yard for kids and a panoramic view. Owners are friendly and available. Great experience.

Family Staycation

We came here as a family to remember my husband as he passed away three years ago and he loved the ocean. The location and property is like paradise! Robyn was very helpful and answered all my questions promptly. Would love to come back in the summer!

Amazing Stay!

My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights with another couple. We had an amazing vacation. This property is absolutely beautiful and the photos don't do it justice! Everything you need and more in this home. The views from the large deck are stunning and we couldn't get enough of the sunsets each night. Looking forward to coming back!

Relaxing getaway

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful , clean home! The view is truly spectacular whether you're tucked in with a good book on the couch or lounging on the patio. Robyn and John were amazing hosts and had everything you could possibly need. We highly recommend this little piece of paradise:)

Wonderful cottage!

We loved this place and found the amenities exactly as described. The fireplace, the hot tub, the barbeque and the bedding were all wonderful . The view was better than we could imagine, even after seeing the pictures. This property is so private, nothing interferes with your enjoyment of the huge back deck. We had a fabulous time and other than going out for provisions we stayed put and had a great time.

Fantastic view and accommodation

The house was better than advertised and had many extras. The view from the deck is outstanding as well as the living room and kitchen. Having the Hot tub just outside the master bedroom is lovely. Will definitely be back!!

family friendly

we loved the place! we are already thinking about booking again with them in time for next summer! places is clean and spacious. Large outdoor space with hottub. We went with kids all under 4yrs old & they love the outdoor space and the hottub ofcourse. beach is soo beautiful with private access. Only thing is going to the beach is very steep and it was hard going with the little kids. Having steps would make it much more easier! We can’t wait to go back!

Peaceful Sunshine Indeed!

We loved every minute of our stay at this property! The owners went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed for a fantastic weekend. The house was even nicer than the photos. It was clean, the beds were super comfortable and the kitchen very well-equipped. Though the path down to the beach was steep in places, it was well worth the trip down. It seemed we had the entire coastline to ourselves! The kids loved swimming and exploring the tidal pool at low tide. The icing on the cake was the panoramic view of the ocean & islands from the deck. You really can't beat that view, and it was indeed very peaceful, quiet and sun-soaked. We will definitely visit again! Thanks again Robyn and John!

Heaven On Earth!

Book It! My husband and i travel very often and this is absolutely the best property we have stayed on. It is a quick drive from Vancouver with half the trip being a beautiful ferry ride on the ocean. We even had a chance to see a whale while on the ferry. Once you arrive to Gibson you can find a Farmers market to stock up on fresh produce and head to your vacation home of your dreams. The experience starts as soon as you drive into the driveway and are welcomed by a gorgeous view of the ocean. The property is extremely clean, kitchen is fully stocked. We had our dinners in every night and had everything we needed and more to use. The view from the living room is mesmerizing ! You have a large patio to use with super comfortable furniture, large dining table and bbq. Half the deck is roofed so we were still enjoying our dinner outside even though it was raining. Lots of space if you have more people to host. We really enjoyed the view from the master bedroom which is a gorgeous ocean-view with super luscious greenery everywhere you look, as well as direct access to the hottub. The tub is new, clean and well maintained. Our hosts Robyn and John were super sweet people and easily accessible the whole trip. Overall we recommend this place 100% if you are looking for a gorgeous view and place to unwind. Also perfect for families! Thank you again! Teele & Tyler

Beautiful property, amazing view, and everything we needed for our family of 4. Will be back.

Amazing stay. House was spacious, clean, and equipped with everything we needed. Lots of room for our kids to play outside and beautiful views for us to enjoy on the deck. The hot tub was perfect outside the master bedroom. The beach down below was steep to get down to but if going down make sure to wear shoes with good grip. There were many other beaches close by as well to check out. The hosts were very prompt to answer questions and are lovely to deal witb. Overall great time and we would love to come back.

very pleasant family vacation

The place is very clean and comfy. And the host is very detailed oriented as the place is well equipped ! They have everything you need. We had a very pleasant family vacation there. The kids especially enjoyed the camp fire in the back yard for roasting marshmallows! Just the access to the beach is a bit too steep for small kids.

Perfect for quiet seclusion

Lovely gem of a property, private and personal. The path to the beach is steep but worth the walk. Hot tub with a view of the ocean was idyllic, made even better by a family of deer which showed up to graze in the garden.

Wonderfull View

We really loved the Barooga house. Our 3yrs old daughter couldn't stop talking about the house after the short trip in Sunshine Coast. It was definitely the highlight of our trip. We relaxed in the hot tub and along the private beach line. The walk way to the beach needed careful steps but manageable for 3yrs and health 70yrs old. The house was clean and very open concept. Big windows and large patio really welcomed us. Thanks again! We will come back again!

Slice of Paradise

It’s a beautiful spot in quiet and easy to reach area with the beach at the bottom for their property. Well maintained, well equipped and the hot tub was magical. Robyn & John were lovely hosts, very responsive and flexible with questions and requests. We’ve made some memories here.
