Fantastic in all areas

Just perfect. As a family of 4 with both girls in their twenties we needed space and this was just right. Location couldn’t be better for a visit to this part of Normandy, in a week we comfortably did D Day locations, Mont St Michael and Swiss Normandy! Host is also friendly and knowledgeable

Pleasant Chateau

House was clean and all inclusive ( fridge- dishwasher- microwave- oven- 3 spacy bedrooms. Good beds. Nice bathroom. Enough garden area to eat and play with the dog. Owner speaks English very well and is very helpfull.

Holiday for family of 6

We had a great stay and were welcomed very kindly by the owner. He was very helpful and adequate with solving an issue. We stayed in one of the 3 gites and there was plenty of room for the 6 of us. The playroom is shared with the other gites but is very welcome for evening activities.The gite was a bit damp because of the weather, but with a bit of cleaning it was not an issue.

Schöne Wohnung in historischem Ambiente

Wir waren zu 5. in Ragny und wurden sehr herzlich begrüßt. Die Gastgeber waren jederzeit erreichbar und sehr hilfsbereit. Die Wohnung ist gut ausgestattet und befindet sich auf einem herrlichen Grundstück, in einer perfekten Lage für vielfältige Ausflüge. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt.

Perfekte Lage, wunderschönes Anwesen

Ein sehr netter, zuvorkommender und unkomplizierter Gastgeber in einem wunderschönen Anwesen auf dem Lande. Genau richtig für einen tollen Urlaub mit zahlreichen möglichen Aktivitäten. Wir würden hier immer wieder buchen.

Un lieu superbe et un logement très mignon et calme

Un logement pratique, propre, une propriété superbe et très calme, avec une pièce de jeux très appréciable ! A proximité de Caen et de tous les lieux où attractions à voir/faire. Joli choix :-)

Prachtige plek!

Schitterende plek om te verblijven met rijafstanden van plm. 15 minuten naar Caen, 30 minuten naar Bayeux, D-Day locaties redelijk dichtbij en ruim 1:15 uur naar St. Monte Michel. Gastvrije ontvangst met uitleg en rondleiding en cider/stokbrood van eigenaar Jean Pierre. Spreekt Engels en onze kinderen konden in het Frans met hem spreken. Haalde direct wat boeken voor ons over D-Day. Supermarkten en benzinestation vlakbij in Villers-Bocage. Bij het vertrek mochten de kinderen de klok in de kleine kapel bij de ingangspoort luiden! Bijzondere ervaring!

Relaxing and peaceful break

Lovely and peaceful, not a sound from the surroundings except for the wildlife. Great night time view of the stars. Excellent games room facilities, couldn't keep the boys out. The building was lovely and cool inside after a hot day outside. Just a few minutes away from A84 motorway with access to Mont St Michel in about an hour. Lovely hosts, Jean Pierre very helpful.

Très jolie maison, décorée avec goût et bien située

Nous avons passé une excellente semaine dans cette maison très cosy, pratique et décorée avec goût. Bien localisée dans la région, permettant de rayonner autour de la région pour des balades et visites. Le parc de château est une beauté ! Merci pour votre accueil chaleureux et gentillesse, le camembert et le cidre étaient délicieux :-)

gite situé dans un cadre exceptionnel

Séjour très agréable dans ce gite très bien agencé avec tout le confort nécessaire dans un cadre fabuleux. Salle de jeux à disposition. Le propriétaire est très accueillant et disponible. Nous recommandons vivement ce lieu où nous reviendrions avec beaucoup de plaisir.

The best place to stay

This is the best place to stay in Normandie. The house close to the beautiful Chateau, the wonderful garden and the proximity to the touristic attractions and beach together with the warm welcome of Jean Pierre made our stay in Rangy perfect. We would like very much to come back there. We miss it already! Ana & Albert (and Elena and Ines)

Wunderbarer Normandie-Urlaub

Ein wunderschönes und gepflegtes Anwesen mit drei schönen Ferienwohnungen in einem Nebengebäude. Wohnungen hübsch eingerichtet, gut ausgestattet. Der Gastgeber Jean-Pierre ist ein Schatz, bei ihm fühlt man sich von der ersten Minute an wohl. Man merkt dem Ort und dem Chateau mit der Torburg aus dem 13. Jhd. seine lange Geschichte an, wer so etwas mag, ist genau richtig. Die Umgebung ist ländlich und ruhig, viele Top-Ziele aber recht schnell mit dem Auto erreichbar. Einkaufsmöglichkeit ca. zehn Minuten mit dem Auto. Wir waren zum zweiten Mal dort und haben uns wieder prächtig erholt.

Fabulous gite in the heart of swiss normandie

We had a very nice 2-week stay in the gite. The owner was very friendly and helpful, the surrounding offers a lot to see and visit. We did some canoe & cayak and stand-up-paddling on the Ordonne as well as garden and castle visits, fabulous beaches are within 40 min by car - what more could you wish for. Evenings in the quiet little garden of the gites are priceleess too of course :)

Un cadre et un environnement exceptionnels

Tout était réuni pour une petite semaine très réussie: maison très agréable, fonctionnelle, la salle de jeux, le parc sont des atouts formidables pour les grands comme pour les petits. Ajoutés à cela l'accueil très chaleureux du propriétaire, ses très bons conseils de visite qui font qu'on ne peut quitter ce lieu qu'avec regrets, avec l'envie d'y revenir. Nous le conseillons vivement.

Great place for a family vaction

We had a great time at Château de Ragny. The Gite is very nice and was very comfortable for a family of 5 with 3 teenagers. The location is very good for touring Normandy if you have a car and want to stay at one place. Jean Pierre was very welcoming and helpful through out the booking process and during our stay. Two points you want to be aware of are: 1. the refrigerator is mini-bar size and not a full size fridge and 2. the unit has two floors and the stairs are a bit steep, we did not have a problem with them, but if think it might be difficult to someone in your party, take that into account. All in all we had a great time at the place and whole wholeheartedly recommend it.

Super!

Zeer rustig gelegen chateau met oude middeleeuwse kenmerken zoals de poort en kapel die je kunt bezoeken. De gite die wij hadden was prima en ruim en met een houtkachel, nette keuken en achter de gite een grasveld waar je heerlijk kunt vertoeven. Ligstoelen zijn gratis verkrijgbaar. Bijna iedere dag gratis verse eieren! De eigenaren spreken Engels en zijn zeer behulpzaam en super aardig. De mogelijkheid bestaat om een auto te huren bij de eigenaar, hij heeft er voldoende staan, allemaal oldtimers. Er is ook een ontspanningsruimte met een flipperkast, poolbiljart, tafeltennis, spelletjes boeken en folders van de omgeving. Centraal gelegen tussen de stranden de steden en in het mooie heuvelachtige gebied van Normandië. Van hier naar het strand een half uur.
