Create everlasting memories with your loved ones as you relax in the home's spacious screened-in porch with partial canal views, or kick back inside in comfortable central air conditioning. This home has room for guests to relax no matter their relaxing style. The home is set close to a canal that reaches Pamlico Sound, making it a perfect retreat for guests who bring kayaks, canoes, or stand-up paddleboards. If you're coming back from a journey, just set wet clothes to go in the private washer/dryer. The full kitchen with full-size appliances (plus a kitchen island that doubles as a breakfast bar with room for three) is sure to be the site of delicious meals and tales from past adventures.

All guests shall abide by Vacasa’s good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM.

This home is a subunit of Blue Fish. Two Fish can be rented separately.

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The pet fee is per stay and ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles.

Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.

Great place, good location. The only thing i could recommend doing is fixing the latches on the screen doors, was very windy and doors opened and banged shut throughout the night.

Cozy Home by The Beach

One fish was perfect for our couples getaway labor day weekend. The place is cozy but not small. There is beech access and great food only a few minutes from the house. If you stay be sure to check out tavern on 12 for lunch or dinner and sweet seas for some coffee.

One Fish a vacation success!

Great location. Nice parking. Make sure you are aware that this is the upper floor and the main floor is a separate rental. Great for our needs for a quick vacation.

A great dog friendly place!

Very clean, the property management company had great communication from checking in to checking out. The location is awesome, right in the heart of Frisco and a short drive to the ferry to Ocracoke! We love being able to bring our four legged baby on our trips so we were very happy that they accepted dogs!

Some downfalls but over all good

The stairs on the back coming off the screened in deck are very unsteady and slippery after rain, the couch is very uncomfortable as well as the bed. The kitchen is very well stocked and wonderful. Bathroom is very spacious with great water pressure and hot water. Lotsssss of closet space. Screened in deck with furniture was perfect.

Very basic, but relatively clean and comfortable. It's right on HWY 12 and has an apartment below making it a little noisy at times. Don't leave anything out in the kitchen because the little ants will get it. But we have this problem at home sometimes.

Very uncomfortable

First off you get what you pay for however, we were not allowed to check in until 5 and after unpacking and putting things away at 5:45 we find out the remote for the tv is missing, and there is a huge lump in the middle of the bed so we call and we’re told sorry there’s no way we can get a remote to you we close in 10 minutes. No excuse we can’t check in till 5 but any problems can’t be fixed till the next day. UNACCEPTABLE! And the bed well nothing was done about that either. The furniture was like sitting on a brick the absolute most uncomfortable furniture I have ever had the displeasure of sitting on. It was clean and that’s about all I can say about it.

Clean but dated

The house was clean but the appliances were old and somewhat broken. The broiler did not work on the oven, the top drawer of the dishwasher was broken and would not pull out and the fridge would not close completely. The shower curtain rod was not installed correctly so it made the curtain too long, causing my husband to fall. The house said it came with towels but they were not there. There was some outside in a bin but they were molded. The home is part of a unit, one was upstairs, one down stairs. The parking was not clear of who was to part where. Not a major issue but it would be beneficial if the unit parking was posted within the parking spaces.

VERY DISAPPOINTING

The accommodations were fine--clean and comfortable. What was VERY upsetting to us is that the description read: "Dog-friendly, waterfront home with sound access". Another description said "sound view". We chose this property because we wanted to be waterfront or at least be able to see water. It was impossible to do either from this property. There were so many high trees and properties in front of us that we could not even see one inch of the water, and certainly were not waterfront. In order to get to the ocean I had to weave my way through several homes and then climb over a sand dune and slide down because it was too steep/lick to walk upright. We had driven 7 hours each way to at least be able to see water. We could have stayed home because the surroundings of the property could have been anywhere. We were also very disappointed with VRBO which I assume is now under the management of VACASA. I spoke to them twice and they said the local manager would get back with us because we either wanted to be moved to another location or refunded due to the false advertising, no one ever called us back even though they assured us we would hear from the local office. Quite frankly, it ruined our entire trip because the main requirement was being waterfront or at least viewing it, none of which were possible. We have used VRBO several times and been very happy but now we are very uncomfortable because there is no guarantee that the description or pictures are accurate.

Says water view.. property overlooks a mobile home not a great view at all. Also says entire home , it’s not you have someone under you and can hear everything. The bed and furniture are very uncomfortable. Also there isn’t any mirrors other than the bathroom vanity which doesn’t help when getting ready for the day. Parking isn’t marked so you have to guess where to park. There also isn’t a TV in the bedroom. Doesn’t seem this property is set up for vacationing in mind. There is a canal past the mobile home but seems sketchy to try to access it. Definitely needs to be updated.

Awesome Stay

Loved that the house is pet friendly and very cozy. The house has an amazing layout, very comfortable bed, and really clean. We had an amazing experience and would love to come back again in the future.
