## Emplacement
Rivedoux-Plage is the first of the 10 villages on the Île de Ré, located at the entrance to the island just after the 3km bridge. A unique viewpoint bordered by the Pertuis Breton and the Pertuis d'Antioche, facing La Rochelle. On the north side, you pass through the quiet, family-friendly village, along the harbor promenade and flower-lined alleyways, until you reach the oyster beds lined up in the Pertuis Breton. On the other side, on the south coast, Rivedoux-Plage invites you to relax on its two kilometers of white sandy beach, or to try your hand at water sports. Kitesurfing and windsurfing are popular on both sides of Rivedoux.
