Welcome to the PERFECT cabin headquarters for your Smoky Mountain Vacation where both luxury AND convenience unite! Mountain Memories is a 5BR/3BA cabin that sleeps 11 and is just minutes from all the best attractions in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg! Enjoy an outdoor hot tub, resort community pool, game room, arcade, pool table, fully equipped kitchen, numerous flat screen TV's, and two large balconies with amazing mountain and wooded views! This cabin has it all!

Our beautiful cabin is in the amazing gated community of Sherwood Forest Resort and is just minutes from all of the best activities, entertainment, hiking trails, and restaurants that the Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg areas have to offer. With our spacious home and scenic Mountain views, relaxation begins the minute you drive up to our cabin!

Great place to stay!

The cabin was very clean and cozy, while also having enough room for my large family to spread out! The kids (and adults!) loved the games/pool table, and the kitchen was stocked with all of the necessary supplies to cook meals. It was very nice to come back and relax there after busy days out exploring the area!

Great place.

Very close to Parkway, which has everything on it in Pigeon Forge, but felt far away to enjoy the mountain view and quite area. We actually saw a family of bears behind our cabin two days in a row, something the kids will never forget.

Cozy and beautiful cabin. Perfect for a bigger family. Secluded but close to everything in Pigeon Forge and only 15 minutes from Dollywood. Very clean and had everything we needed. Highly recommend staying here.

Awesome cabin

Great location to both Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg and the national park. Quiet spot up in the hills only 5 min from the main drag. Short drive to great food, dollywood, and everything else we wanted. Very spacious and clean home with fantastic views. Nothing was missing, everything was great.

Fantastic Experience

I have been visiting Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge since 2014 staying in cabins. This is by far one of the best experiences we have had. Once we booked it, the communication was great. Prior to check in, all information was sent ahead of time. The cabin had so many little extras. We stayed for NYE and always cook. The kitchen was equipt for all needs. The beds and bathrooms were in great shape. If we go back next year. Our goal would to stay here again, the location couldn’t be any better either.

Great mini-Spring Break Getaway with friends!

We visited from a Saturday - Monday during Spring Break and had the best time! Justin was super responsive during the entire booking, check-in, and check-out process. Loved that he shared a coupon book with us - we ended up using it for dinner at Local Goat one night (highly recommend - be prepared to bring home leftovers as the servings are HUGE) which was really nice. The cabin worked perfectly for two families. One set of adults slept upstairs, another on the main level and we put all of the kids in the bottom floor. The kids were obsessed with the pool table, PacMan game, and of course the hot tub (which the adults also enjoyed). Location was super convenient to Dollywood and to the Parkway. We are thinking about coming back in the fall and will stay here again if we do!

Great location

House is in the perfect location for reaching all the sites. It is up a steep hill, but that allowed for some great views. Hot tub was on a porch overlooking the area which was a nice touch. Kitchen was well stocked and made for easy cooking. The walls were a little thin and having loud teenagers required lots of telling them to quiet down. There was lots of space and the beds were comfortable. Definitely bring your own towels for the hot tub. The only complaint was the upstairs shower did not get very hot. Although my husband says I like my water boiling. Overall, great experience for a girls weekend with my teenager daughters and a few of their friends. I would rent this house again. Everyone had a great time.

Great location

We were extremely pleased with this cabin. Out of the last 5 cabins we stayed at, this was by far the cleanest and most well equipped. The kitchen was completely stocked with just about anything you could need. The furniture and beds were very comfortable. Communication from the owner was great. We didn't see any bears, but there is a visiting raccoon by the hottub at night. For families with little ones, the listing did not mention this that I saw, but they also had a pack n play, high chair and baby gate in the main floor bedroom closet. Not to mention, it's only a mile and a half of the main drag in Pigeon Forge. All in all, I have nothing but good to say about this cabin, and we will book again in the future.

Great place for large group near Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg

We had a great time at this property and found it to be perfectly located to get to Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, Sevierville and Townsend. The property was clean on arrival and as advertised. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils, appliances, cookware, and other things you might need for meals. The grill connected to a gas line was a plus - no need to worry about propane or charcoal. The beds were very comfortable, everyone had plenty of space, and the 3 floor split gave the group lots to do without being crowded in the same area. It felt very private, we could not really see or hear the cabins next to us and were surrounded by trees. We reached out to have the outdoor trash bins emptied, since we had a large group we filled them with trash bags pretty quickly. The owner was quick to respond and had someone out pretty immediately to take care of that. We did bring our own pool towels for the pool and hot tub, we had enough towels for showering but would recommend you bring extra for water activities. Would absolutely recommend staying here.

Perfect getaway! Serene setting and short distance to EVERYTHING

We had the best time at this cabin! It is spacious yet cozy and we had everything we needed. The downstairs was the kids dream with pacman, bunk beds and swings on the porch. And we all enjoyed the hot tub! The suites were spacious and 3 full baths came in handy with two families. Like all wood cabins, the floors creak but we only noticed because we have an infant (that is where sound machines come in handy!) The view is beautiful, especially this time of year, and the setting was peaceful and private. You are in a cabin neighborhood, yes, but we never even noticed the neighbors. It was quiet and calm on our road and it only took a few minutes to get down to the bustle of the Pigeon Forge strip or across the way to the mountains. We went to Dollywood and it took us about 10 minutes to get there. The cabin was clean and the hosts were wonderful to work with. We will definitely be coming back!

An absolutely a great gated resort.

This is my 3rd time coming to the Smokey Mountain and this cabin is by far the best yet. The location is perfect and not far from Gatlinburg at all. It's very close to The Island and other attractions. The cabin is exactly the way it looks in the pictures. The cabinet had all the cookware, bakeware, utensils, and towels that you need. When entering the resort, the 1st thing we spotted was a black bear rummaging through garbage. Not even 5 minutes later we saw a mother bear with 4 of her cubs just feet's away from my cabin. Like I said this was my 3rd time at the Smokey's and the 1st time that I actually got a chance to see bears. It was scary cool! I did have to contact Justin the host for minor issues, but he answered my emails and addressed the issues promptly. If you want a nice place to stay that's close to major attraction, then I suggest you stay here.

Pros and Cons

Great location, well stocked kitchen. Justin was quick to respond. Super easy check in. We did enjoy our family vacation. Cons- not enough room to seriously shoot pool. You must hold your stick up at an angle to have room. There was 1 towel and 1 washcloth per guest for a 5 night stay. Livingroom TV would not connect to the internet. A baby bottle full of milk was under the couch, crumbs in chairs, windows were very dirty, dusty ceiling fans. (Cleaning fees over two hundred bucks, you expect clean)Take dish liquid, garbage bags and dishwasher tabs. Bricks on fireplace were broken or missing, appliances were dented. We did enjoy our stay, but small details are important.
