Stylish and quaint mountain cottage with amazing views! Two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Located in Walnut Mountain - Enjoy amenities such as the pool, playground, basketball court, tennis courts, trails, and more! Less than15 minute drive into downtown Ellijay, wineries, and orchards. Less than 30 mins drive to Amicalola State Park and downtown Blue Ridge!

*This cabin is on a ridge. Although all roads leading to it are paved, weather events and road conditions can be unpredictable.

Mountain Getaway

We unfortunately had to cut our stay short due to health reasons. But while there, we loved everything about the cabin. The comfort, the views were great and we were a short drive to anything we needed. We look forward to returning. Thanks Megan!

Exactly what we wanted

What drew me to this cottage was that it oozed cozy. We didn’t want a big place, and this place checked all the boxes for us. I really appreciate that the kitchen was stocked with basics, especially for making coffee. Nothing is more frustrating than not having the right filter or equipment to make coffee, and there were multiple options to fit your preferences. About the only points I could say were detractors is that the couch upstairs is a little small. There is more room for lounging downstairs, but its a little drafty in extremely cold temperatures. Upstairs was fine. Couple of minor points that may be of interest to a few. The house is literally on top of a ridge line, and nearly at the crest of this mountain. If you have inclement weather, I would plan for getting stuck up on that mountain for a while. It’s really a one lane private road and it can be very steep at times. Just be aware and plan accordingly. Another thing is that there were no outlets on the front of the house. I have an electric car and it would have been nice to just trickle charge my car at the house. All the power outlets where on the back of the house. The Ellijay visitor center had a level 2 and level 3 charger, but the level 3 was not working, so we had to sit in the parking lot there for an hour one day. Again, this may not be impactful to all parties, but its worth realizing if you are assuming it won’t be a problem. Really cannot complain. The host was incredibly responsive, and the cottage was great. Would definitely come back.

Perfect mountain getaway!

My husband and I stayed for two nights. The cabin was so charming. We loved the style of the decorations. Linens were new, and the overall cleanliness of the cabin was excellent. The views, however, were the best part! Phenomenal!

Wonderful cabin with amazing view!

This mountain top cabin has an amazing view. I live in the city and crave a place where I can see far. This view feeds my soul. The cabin has great spaces to be together and serval separate spaces to enjoy the quiet, fresh air, and beautiful view. The beds are very comfortable. The place is clean and filled with new comfortable furniture. It is decorated with just enough luxury to make you feel like you are someplace special. We enjoyed a fire in the fire pit and relaxing on the screened-in porch. We had a refreshing swim in the community pool. This place is a gem in the mountains.
