Beautiful spacious studio located in the heart of downtown Puerto Morelos. Walking distance to the beach, downtown square, and and an array of amazing restaurants. This studio has two large balconies front and rear with east and west facing views of both downtown and the jungle manglar, large bathroom, with custom walk-in closets. This space brings the outdoors in with indoor/outdoor shower, outdoor dining and kitchenette.

Great studio!

Location was great, even with construction not far away it was quiet in the apartment. Loved the back patio overlooking the mangroves! Bed was firm but comfortable. We would stay here again!

Great location

Great location, close to beach, grocery store, and restaurants. Back patio was lovely and private. Quiet location. Spacious studio. Great communication. Weekly cleaning provided when there for a longer stay. Mattress was very hard. We enjoyed our stay.

Great Stay

Beautiful studio with great views, a short walk to the beach, and included lawnchairs and beach umbrella amplified our fun in the sun. Close to all the downtown restaurants and hangouts, Good music food and people made the stay perfect

Peaceful and comfortable apartment close to the beach!

The property was well appointed and had everything we needed for our 5 day stay in Puerto Morelos. Our favorite part was the large rear balcony overlooking the jungle. Our host was helpful and provided clear instructions for check in/check out. Would book again!

Perfect studio

Great size, nice bathroom, nice linens, nice outdoor patios, great AC, great Internet. Very convenient to everything in town. Third floor walk-up.

Lovely studio

Really lovely large studio, very comfortable and the balconies were lovely to sit on and spend time reading etc. It is so well equipped with fantastic attention to detail. Third floor with no lift so this might affect some people. I would stay again in a heartbeat. The only improvement suggestion i could make is for some additional relaxing seating on the balconies. The hammock and slouch chair are no longer there and other than the small settee all the other seats are rigid chairs.

Great stay in Puerto-Morelos

Great property and larger space than it looks in pictures. Excellent location if you’re looking for a place that feels like living in a Puerto-Morelos neighborhood. Short walk to beach and town center with multiple dining options. Fantastic fresh fruit/juice stand across the street from property. Kristen is a wonderful host who responded promptly to all inquiries. Beach chairs and umbrella in unit. Laundry can be done across the street if needed. It is a walk up of three flights to the unit but if that’s not an issue for you, the front and back patios provide a great cross breeze in the evening. The only negative was not enough hot water in the shower.

Excellent endroit près d’une boulangerie où on y achète d’excellents croissants, magazin de fruits avec excellents jus de fruits. Véranda arrière où on voient les perroquets, oiseaux mouches et autres variétés d’oiseaux. Véranda avant agréable et plus fraîche en fin de journée. Tout ça à 2 minutes de la plage et du supermarché.

nice apartment close to the beach

We had a really nice stay in puerto Morelos and in John greys apartment. It was clean, nice bed and nice balconies. Ac worked perfectly and communication wwas great with the landlord. Would stay there again :)) 5/5

Just steps from everything

I will say I'm adding this to my list of favorite vacation rentals. Loved the decor and vibe of the place.The back patio is so inviting. It's quiet, private and great place to just relax. Everything we wanted was just blocks away. The only downside that I would say about the unit is it's on the third floor, not an issue for us but for some it may be.

John Gray's Kitchen Studio Apartment

My husband and I loved our stay at John Gray's Studio Apartment. Everyday/night we enjoyed the back balcony that overlooked the mangrove, listening to our music, drinking coffee in the morning or adult beverages in the evening. Since there were two balconies, we would open up the patio doors to both and get a wonderful breeze blowing through. Kristin the property manager was absolutely wonderful to deal with, she would answer all our questions expeditiously, she was so helpful and a wonderful person to spend time with over a few paloma's. You have everything you need to cook a meal, but the only thing I'd like to mention is there isn't any hot water in the outdoor sink, so we would fill a container with hot water from the shower and take it out to the sink to our wash dishes. This didn't bother us in the least. The bed was firm and very comfortable, we brought an HDMI cable and hooked up our computer to the tv for watching the odd show in the evening while lying in bed. The odd night we turned on the air conditioner and it worked perfectly. The hard part in the evening was sitting on the back balcony and smelling some of the wonderful meals being cooked in the restaurant below, don't worry, it wasn't overpowering, it just smelt glorious. Would we stay here again, absolutely. There are so many restaurants and stores all in walking distance. There isn't an elevator so pack light because you have a few stairs to carry your luggage up, but you only have to do that once :) Thanks again for all your help Kristin, until next time. :)
