This new property is ideal for a small family getaway and perfect for our snowbirds! This 2 bedroom, 2 bath apartment is 1,068 sq. ft. with a private balcony with an amazing view that is situated right in the heart of the ever so popular John's Pass Village! The apartment comes fully functional with a stackable washer/dryer, full size fridge, full range stove, microwave, and dishwasher. There are many excellent shops nearby and award winning restaurants practically right outside your door! Score a memorable fishing trip at Hubbard's Marina and let's not forget the sand in our toes just footsteps away from the beautiful sands of Madeira Beach, Fl.

False advertisement

The place they advertised we were staying in is not the one they placed us in. The one we were in didn't have the same space nor features as listed, it was dirty, no space to put your items, tvs weren't set up, everything was cheap, furniture was mismatched, paint job was very poor with runs, there is zero vanity space in the unit, zero space in the master bathroom, no private balcony from the master bedroom, the window went straight to the hallway that was directly by the elevator. There is no way I would refer this place to anyone especially at those rates! We stayed at a resort insanely nicer, and cheaper with gorgeous amenities, prior to going there. So disappointed with this place! I have pictures to prove the poor quality of it all! The only plus side, might be the location.

DIRTY, DISCUSTING, POORLY RUN.

Unfortunately we arrived after a long day of travel. Walking up to the room was tricky. There was piles upon piles of bird droppings all over the place. No avoiding it with suitcases and your shoes. I mean piles. Upon entering our room our children notice a cockroach about 4 inches long. Yeah I get it, it's Florida. Get an exterminator to control this.... Kids freaking out. Message the people on vrbo. They send a cleaning lady to look for more. I message the property owner to see if they have another room. My kids were never gonna relax after that drama. To our delight they had another room to put us in. Start our trek through the piles of bird droppings to the next room. Believe it or not, on top of bird droppings all over the door mat, a dead cockroach now. Now my kids are done. Traveling all day to step into this disaster? We left. Found a great hotel down the road. Clean, no bird droppings, no roaches, clean like you would expect. Messaged the property manager, told them we left and wanted a refund. They said they would refund 4 days of our stay. Fine. Called vrbo. Told them the story. They said they would follow up on the refund. Never happened not one dollar. I had to start a dispute on my card. Very poor customer service on both ends. This property SHOULD have been CLEANER! VRBO should have done something. All in all, if you want bird droppings and cockroaches, this place is for you. If not. Move on. Gross. Disgusting.
