30A is a scenic stretch of highway down Florida's beautiful gulf coast between Destin and Panama City Beach. The highway connects the coastal villages of South Walton through the undisturbed beauty of rare dune lakes, sugar white sand, and emerald blue waters indigenous to the area. Addies graduation week

We stayed here for my daughter’s graduation. Perfect location house had everything we needed . Golf cart and bikes were the selling point and it paid off . I would definitely be back .

Ready to go back

Good locations and the golf cart and the bicycles were a very big plus. The master bedroom needs to have a bed that isn’t 8” off the floor. And have cable so the tv watching want be so confusing . But other than those two major issues the house was in a good location .

Dirty, Dead bugs,Smelly

Location was great and having a golf cart is always a plus but the house was dirty with dead bugs everywhere. When I checked into the house I noticed the smell of feet coming from the bedrooms also a couple of things broken and trash bin was over filled with trash from the previous guest. WiFi also did not work our entire stay! Getting in contact with the property manager was easy from 9-5. Overall they were not much help! Other than the golf cart and location I would not stay here again!

30a Stay

The good: Great location, provided golfcart gives ease of access to everything local. The bad: Upon arrival the unit was extremely hot due to air being set at 78 degrees. Upstairs area took a full day to cool off. Cockroaches found on the floor and throughout home on multiple occasions. Upstairs bedroom king size bed is very uncomfortable and only a few inches off the ground. Downstairs sofa sleeper was extremely uncomfortable and filthy. Microwave made extremely loud noise while being used. Only three spoons and forks to use. Internet is nonexistent on this property making it hard to complete any work-related issues that occurred Golf cart battery did not charge as intended making for frustrating travel on the golfcart. The entire property is poorly cared for (interior and exterior).I would not rent this unit again.

Not worth the money

location great BUT here is what I reported to the management company so I hope they fixed the issues: Dishwasher- We had the dishwasher loaded last night, turned it on, it sounded like it on and working but we noticed we never heard a WATER sound. It doesn't work. We had it on for the entire cycle and when i opened the door, no water had been run, the dirty dishes were as they were when I loaded it. I had to unload all of them and hand wash the dishes. Beds-The master bed left hand side has a sag in it so BAD that my husband had to sleep on the regular size bed while I slept on the couch in the master room. Horrible bed and its only 8" off the ground. Internet- This internet is the worst we have seen anywhere we have stayed along 30A. Couch- The couch in the living room is terrible. DIRTY DIRTY so we covered them with the bedding that was sitting on them. Also not comfortable at all so we sat at the kitchen table when we wanted to watch a little television after our day at the beach. Electrical Outlets in Kitchen- Most of the outlets DO NOT WORK! All along the wall with the window in the kitchen are out. The one at the end of the island is also out. Blinds were torn in the Master bedroom that I already reported.

Broken window and bugs

I’ll start off with the good - the golf cart was amazing for getting and we loved the close proximity to the beach and restaurants. The house generally felt clean. We booked this house knowing we wouldn’t be spending much time inside anyways so we weren’t looking for anything super special interiors wise and this did the trick. Email communication with details about the stay were helpful. Now the not so good- Bugs. Specifically cockroaches. We killed several in our three night stay here and found several other dead ones behind the pullout couch downstairs. We also arrived to a completely shattered window upstairs that still had massive shards of sharp broken glass. We called management immediately and were told they were “aware and would talk to the team tomorrow”. We didn’t hear from them again. It was a safety hazard that we should’ve been notified of before checking in. The two pullout couches were hard as rocks, only one has a mattress pad. No designated linens for pullout couches aside from sheets. I literally was sleeping with beach towels at one point. No spices or anything special in the kitchen. We had to unload the dishwasher on arrival. Needless to say we were disappointed with this stay and will not be back. There are much better places to stay in the area - keep looking!

Not what we expected

When we walked into the house the first thing we noticed was how hot it was, the AC did not work and there was no power to it. We saw a dead cockroach stuck to the kitchen counter and another one on the stairs. We then saw a huge infestation of ants in the laundry room and downstairs bathroom. We contacted the management company and they responded immediately and had the ac working and the house sprayed with but within about 3-4 hrs. We decided to use the included golf cart to find out that the battery was dead because the electric outlets on the left side of the house were not working, the management company gave us a new gf cart but we were without one for two days. We wanted to use the bikes one morning and about 15 minutes into the ride the bolt holding the pedal fell off almost causing my wife to crash. Again the management company came out and fixed the bike. When we went to cook something with the one pan provided it was dirty and half the coating coming off so it was unusable. We washed our clothes and the machine was so loud I thought there was a shoe in with our shirts and shorts, the dishwasher sounded like the loud washing machine did. The house in general feels like it has no love with basic everything, hard sofas, hard mattresses, no extra chairs for family to sit around and watch the tv downstairs and just needs to badly be updated in every way. When we were leaving to head to the airport there was a newly dead 2” cockroach covered in ants in the living room.

Description is not accurate

I booked in February, fully expecting the furniture to be upgraded...why would you put that on a listing and 2 months later still not have any updates? Additionally, the backyard is a JOKE...nothing meticulous about it. Only 2 lounge chairs and only shade. I was afraid to go out there as there were so many leaves and pinecones I just knew there would be a snake or lizard running around that I wouldn't be able to see until too late. The furniture was so uncomfortable and the mattress were also very uncomfortable. This home is a solid 3 star...but nothing luxurious about it. It was clean, good location, but do not try and sell it as something it is not. Also, we lost our wifi on Friday and it didn't get repaired until Monday. Our cell service was non-existent in the house, so that left us without communication to our group as well as no TV or entertainment. I shared all of this with the management company this morning and have not heard anything back from them. Overall, location is good, golf cart and bikes are nice. BUT, if you value sleep or seating comfort...do not book this house until it finally gets the updates it mentions on the listing.

So convenient for beach access!

Everything with the house will meet expectations. Golf cart provided will have you 2 min access to beach and food options. Highly recommended.
