Nestled below a canopy of live oaks, this immaculately maintained 5 bedroom, 5.5 bathroom Vanderhorst Plantation home is the perfect retreat for your next vacation and less than a minute to Kiawah Island’s 10 mile stretch of pristine beaches.
This spacious Kiawah vacation home is open and bright and offers 3,850 sq ft of exceptional living space comfortably accommodating up to 10 guests with 3 master suites, a queen room and a twin room. Enter downstairs to a private living room with a fireplace and TV. Three bedrooms are located on this level, each with a private bath. The “downstairs master” includes a king bed, built-in bookcases and flatscreen TV. The bathroom offers his and her sinks and a spacious, walk-in shower. The queen bedroom has a TV and its own private bathroom with a walk-in shower and the twin bedroom shares a hall bathroom with a tub/shower combo.
The second level offers an open floor plan with a comfortable sitting area, modern kitchen, 2 separate dining areas and a “2nd floor master” suite. The kitchen is open to the entire floor with tons of counter space, stainless choice appliances (2 ovens) and butler’s pantry. Formal dining is just off the living space with seating for 8 and a breakfast nook offers additional seating for 6. A half bath is also located on this level for convenience. The only bedroom on this floor is tucked away and considered the 2nd master. It has a king bed, large flat screen TV and private bath offering his and her vanities and a spacious, walk-in rain shower with skylight. The secluded third floor master suite offers plenty of privacy with a king bed, private bath with granite countertops and a large, walk-in marble tiled shower. Enjoy your morning paper and cup of coffee on your own private terrace.
Outdoor areas include a screened porch with table and chairs and a grilling deck, as well as a large private pool (option to heat) with patio seating. Vanderhorst Plantation is only 4 miles from the top attractions of East Beach Village including Night Heron Park, Kiawah Nature Center, the Roy Barth Tennis Center, and luxury dining and shopping at The Sanctuary Hotel at Kiawah Island Golf Resort.
Pool Access: The private pool (12' x 21') can be heated for an additional charge with 1 week advance notice. Please note this property has NO resort pool access.
