In the heart of the Grand Traverse Commons, this loft is perfectly situated to enjoy all this historical site has to offer. Shops, wine, restaurants, hiking trails, and tours fill the Commons with so much to do! A short car or bike ride will allow you to explore downtown Traverse City and beaches. This condo offers a queen bed in the loft and a sofa sleeper in the living room.

Great loft in Traverse City!

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at this loft in Traverse City. It is close to downtown and a convenient drive to many of the areas attractions. The loft itself is very unique and was fun to stay at!

Cute little place

Stayed here for a night with my 5 and 6 year old boys and hubby. It was a perfect way to celebrate my 40th bday. We ate at one of our favorite restaurants, Stella, and enjoyed some time on the beach. Place was very clean and cute.

Asylum stay

The Village at Grand Traverse Commons is quite amazing. We really enjoyed the 3rd floor view of its red Victorian spires from this compact and elegant condo. it was decorated stylishly and was close to everything in the Commons. We had dinner at wonderful Trattoria Stella - just a few steps away. The Botanical Gardens up the hill were well worth a visit. This is a great place from which to explore Traverse City and the Leelanau Peninsula.

Friends’ getaway

We loved the condo and the area. Just wish the futons were more comfortable… hard and bumpy. The condo was very clean and organized.

The Commons are nothing short of Extraordinary!…

This little Hidden Gem, is nestled inside of once what was known as “The Northern Michigan Asylum” in Traverse City. “The Grand Traverse Commons” have been renovated and serves the community as a little city within the grounds. Plenty to do there, from Shopping to dining in the commons. Absolutely Beautiful Condo! Very clean and loved the added extras like Shampoo & Conditioner, makeup toilettes… etc. We will be back again, so happy we stayed!….

Anniversary Getaway

It is located at the former state hospital. Many shops and restaurants are located here so we had great food only a short walk away. This is a perfect rental.

Great short trip for airport

We went to beach and downtown. Very close to everything . Commons had great restaurants and shopping . Very close to airport . Nice tiny little place for quick stop over to airport .

A great place to stay in Traverse City

We were very comfortable and couldn't be happier about the accommodation and location--walking distance to shops and restaurants. The host was extremely attentive. Everything was as advertised.
