Absolutely charming, very large bedroom (400 sq ft) and private bath and desk area. There is private parking and a private entrance at this lovely property in Los Alamos. Private patio to enjoy at any time. Air conditioning. No spaces shared with others. Outdoors swing in the succulent gardens with peaceful gurgling fountain.

Nespresso coffee maker. Quality coffee supplies. Small refrigerator. Microwave. Hair dryer. Glassware, picnic basket and supplies. 2 cruiser bikes with helmets. ADA accessibility in the walkways, door widths and shower access.
Quality linens, down pillows and comforters. Air conditioning. Smart TV with access to numerous streaming services. WIFI.

Room is totally private. Entrance is private. Patio is partially shared with chicken! Outside gardens have lovely tree swing.

Very quiet

Los Alamos is in the Santa Ynez Valley, abundant wineries and tasting rooms! Incredible restaurants, bakery and tasting rooms in Los Alamos, all walking distance. Small local market, post office, gas stations, Mexican Deli and antique Stores.
Easy walking in town, in the hills, the Los Alamos Public Park, to all restaurants, stores and amenities. Great roads and trails for walking, hiking, running and biking.

Cozy, pretty room and patio.

We had a great stay, the room was very cozy and pretty, spacious. The private patio is very pretty. It was great being able to let our dogs explore and stave off boredom while we were at the room. The chicken and chicken pen is a fun feature. Joyce was very responsive with our questions and requests. The neighborhood has only a few street lights but felt safe. There aren’t sidewalks but it felt safe walking our dogs because the streets are wide. As someone mentioned, part of the patio houses a couple of chicken, they have their own space and do not freely roam the patio. We have two small dogs. Our senior dog didn’t notice the chickens at all until the second to last day. He became excited and wanted to meet the chickens but forgot about them after we left our room for the day. The room is a couple of minutes drive to the Main Street with shops, bakery, restaurant, gas station, bar, highway, very convenient. Overall, great experience, thanks Joyce!

Pet friendly, Mostly

Overall we did enjoy our stay and the space is nice. Joyce was responsive leading up to our stay and provided us with information needed to check-in, WiFi, etc. The amenities in the room were great. Things that could have been made more clear: -There is a private entrance and patio as stated, but there are roosters in a chicken coop in the corner of the patio. -There is a shared wall in the rental suite and a door which connects the main house with the guest suite. Disclaimer: Our dog is an anxious rescue. We couldn't utilize the outdoor patio because of the roosters and our dog's interest in them. Inside, we had to block the door to the main house with luggage to keep our dog away from the door because he heard the owner's dog on the other side. This is a nice rental in a quiet city in Santa Barbara's wine country. It'll be great for many, but not for us.
