I can’t say enough good about our hosts and the house in which we stayed. We were 3 fathers and 3 sons exploring the Jeep trails of the Ozark National Forest. While we had looked for a house nearer the forest, we were so glad at the end of the trip that we had selected this place. A perfect home to return to after a long day on the trails. Our hosts had extensive local knowledge and were happy to share it, studying our maps with us, and making route recommendations that enabled us to enjoy not only the trails in the forest, but getting to and from them. Our hosts took a personal interest in our well-being without being intrusive. The house is lovingly taken care of. Clean, well furnished, and homey. Had the weather been nasty, we would not have been disappointed just to stay in and play games at the large dining room table and eat snacks prepared in the well equipped kitchen. As it was, the weather was perfect, so we spent the daylight hours away. A Harps grocery store is conveniently located, so we had no problem eating our breakfasts and dinners together around the table at home. Beds and bedrooms are all comfortable, we all slept well. The bathroom is large and well equipped. (My only negative comment: the water temperature regulation in the shower is finicky, I never got the hang of it, but the bathtub was great!). Definitely recommend this place!
