With a private pool, golf cart and a 6-minute walk to the beach, you'll love a stay at Emerald Pearl for your next Miramar Bch/Destin vacation. And even better, this home is dog friendly, too!

The main living and kitchen area feature plenty of windows to overlook the pool. Within the spacious kitchen you'll have more than enough prep space for all your meals. The island can seat 3 and the table can seat 6, not to mention the additional dining and living space outside on the gorgeous patio.

You'll be able to access the patio and pool via either of the living areas in the home. And this pool! It features a sun deck and separate area with bench seating. This will be where you spend your time with family and friends. Turn on your favorite movie or team on the TV, grab a seat in a chair or a lounger and truly relax. You're on vacation time!

The whole home is on one level, so no sets of stairs to worry about. With 4 bedrooms and a sleeper sofa, this Miramar home can sleep up to 10 guests comfortably.

A Benchmark welcome bag and initial starter kit of amenities are provided for all guests. For the kitchen this includes: 1 roll of paper towels, 1 dish sponge, 1 dish soap, 2 dishwasher pods, and 1 liner for each trashcan. For each bathroom it includes: 1 roll of toilet paper, 1 set of soap/body wash/shampoo/conditioner/lotion. For towels you will receive: 1 body towel/1 washcloth per guest and 2 hand towels per bathroom, plus 2 washing machine pods.

You want to book this house!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Stop scrolling and book this house! Our family truly enjoyed staying at this house. The location was ideal. There was so much to do in the area and only a short walk to the beach, shopping, restaurants and more. If you don’t feel like walking the golf cart that comes with the house is so nice to use! The house was very clean. We couldn’t get over how nice the house was decorated and instantly felt at home. The highlight of the house is the outside seating area and pool. There is a full table to eat outside and plenty of loungers. The pool was very clean and the hottub was so nice to enjoy on cool evenings and mornings. The management was always a text a way if we needed anything and they responded very quickly with any questions we had. We will definitely book again the next time we stay in Destin! You will want too as well!

Emerald Haven Drive

Wonderful location with easy and quick access to the beach. Outside area of property is worth the stay alone as pool is large and hot tub is an added perk. Some circulation/filtration issues with pool/hot tub however were fixed quickly by property company. Easily sleeps 10 with lots of room.

Spring Break 24

House was nice & pool was great. No outlets worked in the Master Bath or entry bath which is an inconvenience but we managed it. The property provided 8 towels for 6 guests for the week, which included use for the pool & bathing. Be ready to do laundry, but there is a washer & dryer onsite. Multiple TV’s were great & patio TV was awesome w March Madness!

Emerald waters home

The house was great. The rooms were as described. Everything worked well. Only complaint that we had were bugs...some cockroaches and ants. Other than that, we loved our stay. We did bring our pets and they loved the house as well!

Great rental near the beach

This house was very clean & has lots of space. We had 5 adults staying there & enjoyed having enough bdr & baths - there’s also a 4th bdr with bunk beds that we didn’t use. The beach is only about 2-3 blocks away & we took all our stuff to the beach on the golf cart but if you get there later than 10:00, there is no where to park so we had one person drive it back to the house. Patio & pool were great when we weren’t at the beach. Some neighbors behind this property were very loud at night but no way to know who will be staying around you - the houses are all very close! We had a great time & love this area!

It was a quick walk to the beach and had all the amenities one could hope for. The garbage disposal was out and management was responsive and professional. The only feedback is for the management to ensure there are things like tissues, toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, and dish soap. For what you pay these basic items should not be missing and certainly should not be left to the renters.

Great Escape

Emerald Pearl was amazing! It was plenty spacious enough for everyone to have room the younger adults/teen to have room to have theor own space, the kitchen was huge and well equipped to handle oir Thanksgiving meal, and the back patio pool area was gorgeous. We loved being able to hanging outside and watch the football game. Benchmark was very quick to respond to any questions I had. I highly recommend this rental! 10 out of 10!

Nice House, Great Stay!

The house could use a coat of paint on the trim inside and out, but is decorated well with substantial funiture and easy access to the beach. The pool and outdoor area is wonderful and provides a nice change from beach or a place to hang on cloudy/rainy day. Not sure what others experienced, but our family had a great stay!

The pool at the property was great. The house needs a lot of small repairs. Golf cart did not work, bikes did not work, toilets did not work, shower did not work, overall I would not recommend this property or benchmark for the price.

Family Vacation

Bugs in one of the beds and in the master bathroom. Black hair and crumbs in another bed. Disposal stunk the entire house. Floors were dirty. Toilets clogged several times. Pool was hot. Pool toys were mildew and dirty. Mildew and mold inside the washing machine. Garage was dirty. Overall 2 out of 10!!

The property itself was good. Beds were comfy and rooms were spacious. Upon arrival, I asked our host why the pool and hot tub wasn't heated. They told me it would be an additional daily charge, which is not advertised or mentioned upon booking. And they told me it was too late to do it. I wouldn't have booked that specific property had I known. When we went to cook, many of the pots and pans were dirty. The golf cart provided was very convenient, as was the location to the beach. Upon arriving back home, I realized my card had been charged for the pool heating even though it wasn't heated and they said we couldn't get that amenity. Luckily after a few days I was told I would be reimbursed. It will take two weeks so we will see. It was fine and we made due but I wasn't completely overwhelmed with the property.

There is plenty of privacy for people in the house to have their own bedroom/bathroom set-ups. Two living room spaces (3 if you include the outdoor tv area) are perfect! The kitchen is well stocked. The property is clean and the beds are comfortable! The location is awesome! Two blocks to the beach, very walkable! There is also an awesome golf cart! Plenty of restaurants in the area. We heated the pool and that was awesome too! The management company was very responsive for any questions. I would stay here again!

Not the Vacay we hoped

The location was amazing & the property is beautiful with the exception of needing some TLC & bathroom upgrades. The property has a beautiful pool/hot, but it was broken & would not be fixed while we were there. The shower head in showers were very outdated & hot water ran out after one person showered. The outside shower was broken. One of the outside fence locks was broken. We spent the week listening to our neighbors having a blast in their pool/hot tub & taking warm showers… not the vacay we hoped for!

Good not Great

Pros: easy to find, check in was easy, house was beautiful, location was great, use of golf cart was nice, pool was great, hot tub was nice looking….(Description said pool could be heated for a fee but one would assume the hot tub would be “hot”. Also, couldn’t get the jets to work properly so had maintenance requests in.) Cons: the road in front of the house was washed out and concrete was rough, instructions for using the garage and golf cart weren’t clear, never got the outside hot tub to work properly, and the gold master bathroom has a nice tub but don’t let the jets fool you…they do not work apparently. I messaged the host about the issues the first night we there and did not receive a message back for 3 days. I called the management company and they put 2 work orders in for us. We were told maintenance would call when they were on the way. Well…they never called or came before we left. I wouldn’t consider this a “bad review” because the week was sufficient (it was ok), BUT not great because you wait all year for your vacation and you pay a lot for the week and then be disappointed that all the amenities weren’t functioning properly.

Great house, great location

First, let me say our family had a great time at this property!! The house was great for our family of 7 adults, 1 teenager (15). 3 full bathrooms is a must for us!! The golf cart was very helpful getting around the local area. The pool was great, even though the water was very warm. The hot tub controls didn’t work and it felt like areas of the house were being upgraded since there was a ladder and things in the garage and new window blinds in the master closet. On arrival, the door code provided didn’t work, but with a quick call to Benchmark Management they were able to quickly get us in! There were no lights in the ceiling fixtures in the kitchen… fortunately, I found the light bulbs in the pantry and was able to install them; also, maybe it is normal, but every lamp in the house was unplugged when we arrived… so in order for us to have any interior lights, we had to plug in lamps and install light bulbs. There are plenty of amenities in the kitchen and throughout the house… enough TBs for everyone to watch what they want… the outdoor seating are near the pool with the TV is a great place to wrap up the day!! Our family would highly recommend this property!!

Good potential but falls short

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: House is in desperate need of some TLC. It is clear that the details of a good vacation experience are lost on not only the management company but the owner. For example, management called us on the day of our arrival (Saturday) to tell us the dryer was broken and would have to be replaced. When I asked how long it would take (we were there two weeks) management responded the owner will order and will be there on Monday. Guess what? It never came during our stay. Management gave us a credit and said we can take our laundry to another unit a few blocks away. Not exactly what you want to do while on vacation. As far as the house, great potential but is in definite need of small but irritating fixes. For example, the golf cart in disrepair and old, slow drains in the sink and tubs, the walls need paint, the outlets in MB are not operable, a couple of the blinds are broken, knobs missing on the bathtub, the seating area are out back needs to be updated, yard needs landscaping, stained cushions, broken toaster just to name a few things. to be fair, management did give us some credit for the golf cart and dryer, but if you are on vacation, you want things to work that is what you are paying for, CONVENIENCE. BTW, there is two big homes being built right across the street that is very noisy In addition, the Management rep, (Tiffany) was very rude when I called multiple times as if she did not want to be bothered. Overall, with many beautiful homes in this area and great management companies, I would stay away from this management company until they decide to raise their standards. The pictures are deceiving. Management should do a better job inspecting the homes they rent.

Not Happy

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I watched the property calendar for several weeks before our arrival and the property was not rented prior to our stay. I asked for an earlier check in and they said I would have to check back on the arrival day and the earliest I could get in would be at 2:00. We get to the property at 1:30 so I called and they said I could not check in before 4:00 because the property needed one more cleaning. So we parked at the house and waited until 4:00. Amazing no one ever came to do the LAST Cleaning. As far as the property the sink in the foyer bathroom is not working, the shower handle in the guest bathroom was broken, the golf cart while handy would not hold a charge and we did not feel comfortable going very far in it. The TVs in all of the bedrooms would work but the remotes did not. The TV in the den off of the kitchen did not work. Hated to spend the money on a property in the shape it was in.

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Upon arrival, there were 6-8 bags of trash left in the hot garage from the previous guests. They were left there because there were no trash bins outside anywhere. Informed property management (Sunday) still no trash cans when we left. 1 of the 6-7 bicycles was in working order. Golf cart broke down and management told us (via text message) we needed to PUSH it back to the house, or pay to have it towed! Overpriced for location and bedroom/bathroom setup.

Great house with potential, needs TLC.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Pros:Great house in a great location. Backyard could be wonderful. Big pool and fantastic covered porch with a TV. Cons: This house needs some TLC. The house inside was fairly clean, a few minor drainage in one of the tubs, one of the burners on the stove didn't work, hall bath exhaust fan didn't work. Tv's with 4 remotes each, impossible to figure out what works and what doesn't. But, all in all, the house itself was comfortable. We didn't spend a lot of time IN the house. The outside, which has great potential was a disappointment. The garage was a mess, they have plenty of chairs and beach items. Everything disarray, some stuff broken and just needs organizing. The golf cart was plugged in, with key in ignition, turned in on position when we got there. Golf cart did not work and obviously no-one checked that before our arrival. Traveling with someone handicapped, this was a huge loss for us. One of the reasons we rented the house. They did get it fixed, it took three days and we had to rent our own golf cart and pay for it until other one fixed. The fountain in the front yard, filled with green sludge. BBQ grill DIRTY had to clean and had to light with matches. Outdoor shower, covered in mold. Disgusting, husband cleaned it. Umbrellas with holes and broken umbrella stands and broken furniture in a pile in corner of yard. Found a chair for the table in the bushes. Nothing wiped down outside, found a full open beer under one too the cushions. Hot tub does not work, therefore no lights in pool due to electric in pool not in working order. They have like three rugs stacked on top of each other in the porch area. Trip hazard. The pool net was held together with twist ties, part of a t-shirt and other things people did to rig it. Asked for a new one, no-one came or acknowledged it. They offered me 10% off on next vacation during off season. Gee, thanks. We left it in better condition then we found it, because we cleaned things up!
