Come enjoy this stunning cedar log cabin by the gorgeous Douglas Lake. Tune out with water views, long range views of the Great Smoky Mountains with a private lake access and boat ramp in Sevierville. This sprawling beauty has 2900 SqFt across 3 levels. It is huge while still very cozy and can very comfortably sleep 14 people. Resort grade amenities include a pool table, fire pit, and hot tub. Beautiful cabin!!!

First and foremost, the cabin is very beautiful and very spacious. The communication when having an issue is spot on. The downside is that the whole week we were there we never got to enjoy the hot tub because it is absolutely pitch black out there and the pictures had shown us it being lit up. Alphonso did assure us he’d have some new lights brought out, but we were leaving in two days. They brought them out nonetheless, but there was an issue they didn’t get them working after all. We were really bummed about that seeing as how we paid SOOO MUCH money to stay here we were hoping everything would have been perfect. The roads to get to the cabin is absolutely awful. We ended up having to drive to the dock because of my elderly mother, which was very inconvenient because we thought we were going to be much closer to it, (which is why we chose the cabin)but all in all it’s a beautiful cabin and very, very roomy for a large family. The communication was great. Just a couple disappointments ,or should I say inconveniences for the price we paid for this place.

Great getaway

This was perfect for my family. Plenty of room and super private as the house is on a private drive so virtually no traffic. We enjoyed all aspects of our stay. Would definitely recommend this cabin for a vacation getaway. Also the owner was great. Quick and responsive to my questions which is what you want.

Comfy Cabin

We had a nice visit to this cabin with our family. Having 2 bedrooms on the main level was great. Large master upstairs was very nice with a nice bathroom. Basement bedroom was basic - has door to the outside. A few things to know before booking - the drive to the house isn’t steep but it is very curvy and winding. We were there in late sept and the lake was very low. House did not have pretty views. The hot tub is tucked in a dark corner and did not have lights for night time hanging in the hot tub (and no view). Fireplace in the living room did not work. Take extra dishwasher detergent - only 1 pod was supplied. My kids enjoyed the pool table and arcade games. House was about 25 min from Dollywood.

Great Cabin on Douglas Lake

We loved the location of the cabin (just up the road from the lake), and the whole family had a blast. The cabin was clean and spacious with plenty to do if we didn’t get out to the beautiful lake. We look forward to returning, and would highly recommend this cabin to anyone travelling to the area.

Great for big families

Property was beautiful and big enough to easily accommodate our 13 person group (6 adults, 7 kids). We had a couple of issues that popped up while we were there, but Alphonso responded quickly and made sure it was handled fast, which we really appreciated. The location is perfect if you are looking for somewhere beautiful that is close enough to attractions, without being surrounded by the chaos. It was quiet and peaceful, the perfect place for a relaxing getaway. We will definitely be booking our next family vacation to the Smokey Mountains here!

Family fun in luxury

A beautiful cabin with plenty of space for all of your friends and family. We needed to disconnect from reality and enjoy our family time. This cabin offers just that. The house is spotless! The beds are very comfortable so much so you’ll forget where you are! We will definitely be back with a boat to enjoy the beautiful lake!

NOTE: The lake dries up in late October and is full again by April.

This cabin is nestled on 1.5 acres and surrounded by nature and gorgeous views. There is one master king bedroom suite, and three more bedrooms, and 3 full bathrooms. There is a large living room on the main level. Two large covered decks are in the front and back of the cabin to sit, relax and enjoy the gorgeous views. In the back of the main floor you'll find an over sized laundry room. There is a hot tub on the covered back deck. The front deck also has multiple seating areas, a swing and there is also a beautiful outdoor seating option with an umbrella on the front lawn. The cabin has a lake access (shared with 2 other properties) and a boat ramp as well. Pictures don't do this cabin justice. Come see it for yourself!

When you visit, you will notice the thought that went into the organization and furnishings of the place. The cabin is in a quiet, secluded area so we tried to keep it as equipped as possible. We used the highest quality of pillows, linens and bedsheets, and also ensured that there are enough storage spaces for your stuff when you visit whether it’s a short or an extended stay.

The entire cabin is made of cedar wood and this gives it an uncanny character and we used rustic décor throughout to match. It is the perfect spot for a romantic getaway, a family vacation or for travelling with a large group of friends. The downstairs game room has a regulation sized Olhausen slate pool table and there is a hammock and a hot tub in the back deck. As an icing on the cake, you will get a piece of Lake Douglas and with a boat ramp. Side note, the lake is artificially dried up in late October and rehydrated by April for the rest of the year.
