Outstanding Property
We had a fabulous time at this Lake Martin property. There were 15 of us celebrating Thanksgiving in this home. We had plenty of room. Having two ovens and refrigerators made cooking a true Thanksgiving meal very easy. The kitchen was well-stocked. We had plenty of seating for everyone.
The property was extremely clean. The views of the lake were amazing! The fire pit was perfect. We did not use the lake, as it was the fall, but looked like it had great access. There was plenty of lawn to play some outdoor games. The owner was gracious to bring over some additional ones.
The house had a great game room with a pool table, which we all enjoyed. There were several tv's in the common areas, however, not in the bedrooms. This was ok for us since we were really enjoying the family time. The gas fireplace gave just the right heat and ambiance.
The beds were very comfortable, and they had plenty of extra bedding. The parking was great, too.
The best part of the trip was how attentive the owner, Pat, was to any concerns or questions. What a super guy! He brought us extra wood for the fire pit, games to play, and came immediately when we had a plumbing issue. Not only was the house a great find, but Pat made it even more special, because he treated us as if we were family staying in his home.
We will definitely be back. Our whole family plans to come back in May and really enjoy the lake. Our date is reserved, and we can't wait!
