3000 sq.ft. open and spacious 5 bedroom 3 bath, sleeps 11 adults one level pole barn home that sits on 60 acres with about a mile of rum river frontage. Wildlife galore, trails, canoeing, fishing, sandy beach, an acre plus flat grass front yard, park like wooded back yard. About 1 hour from downtown Minneapolis and 10 minutes to Pinewood Wedding Venue. Includes garage parking.
Owners have a small unit in Garage building that is occupied by their son.

Get away from it all

The property is rural and quiet. We loved the birch trees in the view from the living room. And the turkeys were entertaining.

Beautiful Property

A large group of friends stayed at the property for the weekend. The house is very spacious, and had everything we needed did an enjoyable stay. Leslie answered all our questions as soon as we asked them. We’ll definitely stay again if we’re back in this area.

Friends Get- together

We had a great time at this place! Directions and rules were clear and simple. Friends had a great time laughing and catching up! There is plenty of space for groups of people to have a nice weekend stay ☺️

Spacious clean home. We had 11 adults staying. Slept us all very comfortably.

Great communication with property owners. Responded right away to all messages throughout our 3 day stay. Very pleasant to work with. Would definitely recommend.

Family weekend

We had a group of 15. The property and home are beautiful. There were plenty of things to do for everyone; swimming, fishing, bean bags, frisbee golf and catching up with siblings. I will Plan another time to go back.

Game weekend with friends

We had 8 adults and rented the home for a game weekend! Plenty of space and options to spread out as needed. The kitchen supplies were very nice and some little things we forgot were there for us. Fun yard games and larger barn space was nice and the fire pit area is amazing!! I’d pick this property again for sure!!!

'89 St. Olaf Friends Weekend

Our party had 10 adults - 4 couples and two singles mostly from MN but also PA and CA - renting the home for our annual Olefest weekend! There was ample bedroom space, a spacious and beautiful kitchen, and a cozy living room/ dinning room area for puzzles, games and great conversation. The home itself is very nicely decorated and comfortably furnished. We wanted to use the firepit circle on our second night but a fierce thunderstorm rolled through the area - a magnificent light show through the large main windows of the living room. Loved the early morning 'Coffee with Turkeys', approaching the house on the huge lawn. Everyone in our group were very pleased and would definitely suggest this property to anyone wanting to stay in the area. Mike and Leslie were very welcoming and run a premium property!! Enjoy!

Beautiful property and house!!

Very peaceful and absolutely a beautiful house and property!! Perfectly groomed trails for walking. plenty of space in the inside of the house for everyone to spread out. The owners were very friendly and helpful.

We decided to move "north" and build a home for our family. The entire family took part in building our home, everyone had a job.
We adjusted easily to the slower pace of life, the quiet simplicity of walking through the woods and looking for mushrooms or animal tracks. Now the kids are grown and independent, we have the opportunity to share what we have enjoyed for years.

This is a rural area, there is plenty of sand, water and animals to fill your day. We offer the simplicity of nature. You choose, stay on the path or venture into the thick woods. Take a walk down to the river (bug spray is needed for the walk). Some enjoy sitting on the patio and watching the eagles fly, others stay inside and watch through the big windows, no matter your comfort level, you will enjoy the scenery.
Bring your mountain bike, paddle board even your *four-wheeler.

*Please, notify hosts if you are bringing a motorized recreational vehicle with you.
