This stay was disappointing in a lot of ways. The house is in a great location for Ohio State events. The host was gracious and allowed us to check-in early. The good feedback ends there. We arrived to water in the basement and reached out for help. A plumber was sent, opened the wall on the main floor bathroom to fix the issue and told the party about a dead rat that he found in the wall - not a good piece of information to share especially when the wall was left open. So that bathroom was out of service. Occupancy shows 14 but there were enough towels for 4. Oven was filthy to the point of not being usable and having to take half cooked food to another house to finish being cooked. Two broken dinning room chairs that looked fine until you tried to sit in them. There were other issues but in fairness, we likely would have looked past those without the bigger issues. After checkout, the host sent a one line message about something happening to the front window to which we responded and asked for more information and we never heard back from that.
