This property is a scam. Soon as you book and pay the host will post a message that the property isnt ready. Vrbo will not refund you. Its acomplete SCAM!!!

Owner and manager didn't do their job

I have rented through VRBO several times and have always received the information for check in (security codes and other instructions) no later than the morning of our arrival. I sent a message to the owner through VRBO the morning of the date we were to check inquiring about the check in information. No response by early afternoon so I called the owner. He said he was waiting to hear if the cleaning crew was done before he would give me the code and would get back to me. He thought they might be almost done. A couple of hours later, I still hadn't heard anything. I went to the property (because I didn't have anyplace else to go) around 3:00. Check in was 4:00. I waited until a little after 4:00 to call the owner again. The owner still had no idea what was happening at the property, but gave me permission to go in. The cleaning crew was still there and had A LOT of work to do yet. The place was filthy. Turns out they hadn't been called until AFTER I first contacted the owner. The local manager was there working on fixing one of the beds that was completely disassembled, so that bedroom was unusable. It didn't seem like the owner or manager had any clue what needed to be done to prepare for our arrival despite the fact that we had reserved it two months earlier. The property was clearly not ready for renters. Taylor Swift was in town so we had no other option. We got through the weekend, but very disappointed in our lodging.
