My name is Juanita Wilson and I am the founder and owner of Gordons Bay Stay. I reside locally, am married with one daughter, and living in a home which we own.
I started in the holiday home industry 5 years ago with a three bedroom house that I friend of mine bought in Gordon’s Bay. I now have 15 properties in my care, all of which we manage, maintain and market for the purpose of holiday let. Through offering our clients’ options of various accommodations to suite their particular requirements, I find that we can always place a guest in their perfect holiday house.
Our offices are situated in the centre of town. We are well established and perfectly located near the beach. We not only offer information and availability for holiday accommodations, but also assist with general tourist related inquiries.
We have established ourselves in the community where we hold a reputation of being reliable, energetic and competent. We are actively involved in community activities, head the tourism portfolio for the Gordons Bay Business Forum and are well known amongst my competitors. We have a wonderful referral system and support one another continually.
My background is in Hospitality, where I have worked in all divisions from housekeeping to owning, and am now empowered with knowledge and hands on experience in the public service/hospitality industry. This ranges from Hotels to Resorts and Restaurants. I have attended many hospitality seminars and Marketing conferences in the holiday making industry since I established myself in what I currently do. I now have a team of ladies, each managing their own departments in this intricate field, which we call ‘micro managing’, and personally oversee all areas of the business.
