Sandcastle II 305

After just one stay and Sandcastle II will be your vacation spot for life! This pet-friendly (see below) condo features 3-bedrooms, 2-bathrooms and sleeps 8. The primary bedroom has a king bed with full bath. Guest bedroom #1 has 2 full beds, guest bedroom #2 has 2 twin bed and both are adjacent to a full bath. Kick back and enjoy the open concept living room, dining area, and fully equipped kitchen. The unit is equipped with full sized washer & dryer.
Cable and Wi-Fi included at no additional cost.

At the beach parking is always scarce but this unit come with assigned parking. Community amenities include a heated Pool and Spa and gas grills. There are great local restaurants up and down Gulf Blvd. Looking for more than sun and sand, take the beach trolley north to Clearwater Beach or South to John's Pass. Visit St. Petersburg where you will find museums like the world-renowned Dali Museum, theatres, music venues, The Florida Orchestra, and historical locations.

Arrival Instructions: Once your booking has been finalized, we will email you our contact information and specific instructions for pick up keys at our local office. Be sure to check your SPAM folder for our emails.

Self-Catering: The unit is being offered as a self-catering accommodation. The unit is stocked with enough basics to get you going for the first night. Should you run out of anything during your stay, you will need to provide your own supplies. Grocery stores and other shops are just a short drive away. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you might need. Wi-Fi and basic cable are provided at no additional cost. Beds are made up with fresh bed linen and bath towels are provided. The unit is equipped with a washer/dryer should you need to wash any clothes or linens during your stay. Housekeeping services are not provided on a day-to-day basis, so we have provided cleaning equipment to enable you to clean the floor and wipe any surfaces when needed during your stay. At the end of your stay, wash and put away any dishes, empty the fridge and cupboards and take the trash out to the bins before you leave. A minimum charge of $300 will apply for missing linens and/or housekeeping services that exceed normal use. A minimum charge of $1,000 will apply for smoking in the property.

Transportation: The unit is located approximately 20 miles from Tampa International Airport, and 12 miles from St. Petersburg - Clearwater International Airport. Ground transportation is available through ridesharing services, as well as Super Shuttle. Estimated taxi fare is $65 (one-way). Estimated Super Shuttle fare is $65 (one-way). Getting around Pinellas barrier-island beach towns is inexpensive, fun, easy, and convenient when you take advantage of the Pinellas Suncoast Beach Trolley (PSTA) service. The Suncoast Beach Trolley runs from Clearwater Beach (north) to Pass-A-Grille (south) and stops at specially marked "Trolley Stop" locations along the entire Gulf Blvd route.

Pet Policy: Pets are not permitted in vacation rentals unless arranged in advance. Any unapproved pet is prohibited and could result in eviction and forfeiture of all monies paid. You are solely responsible for any damage or personal injury caused by your pet. One (1) pet up to 35 pounds is acceptable with a $150 non-refundable pet fee.

Accidental Damage Protection: INSURANCE as listed in Homeaway/-- "other charges" will cover up to $3,000 of unintentional damage to the rental unit that occurs during your stay. Intentional damage of damage that exceeds the maximum will be charged to the credit card on file. In lieu of the insurance a $3,000 damage deposit will be required upon final payment.

Indian Shores Sandcastle condo

Loved our stay here. The condo unit was perfect for our family! Comfortable sofaAnd loveseat plus big table and chair that accommodated all of our family. The property was even better than we imagined. A pool right in front of the beach. Three big gas grills in the poolside area. The beach was really big with lots of sand for the kids to play in. Chad the lead on the property management team was so responsive and quickly took care of any issue we had. The unit was very clean with brand new towelsAnd sheets. Added bonus a casual waterfront restaurant right across the street so didn’t have to fight any traffic if we wanted to eat out. The condo unit is also conveniently located by John’s Pass for fun water actitivies. We definately want to return for next years vacation. Highly recommend!

Could be better

The property has had hard wear and it shows. It needs attention from rusty door locks, a single elevator working, to rusty shower rods and worn pans. It was okay but I think expect more for my money. I have rented units for twenty years, so I know what a unit can be.

Even though there was remodeling and construction going on, and we knew it, the property manager kept in touch with us about any issues that would effect our vacation. 10/10 would visit again!

Great location!

Check in was quick and easy. Condo was very clean and well equipped for everything we needed. Very close to the beach! Two elevators for easy access to condo. Great to have grocery carts and carts for moving in and groceries. Great location for restaurants and shopping.

Great potential/Few quirks

Great place to stay with a few minor issues that were kind of annoying. We had several storms that limited our time outdoors. We had one TV that didn't work at all and another TV we had to stream our phone to get anything live. We also had a ceiling fan light that didnt work. The maintenance guy showed up to fix it but left his ladder in the condo so that was in the way the whole week. There was another light fixture in the living room that didn't work and the bathroom light worked intermittently. Once all these bugs get worked out I would recommend staying here.

Great location the beach is awesome!

It is a great place to stay. The view and location was awesome! It had nice accommodations with a dining table and 2 couches. The outside table was nice too, to watch the sunsets. We weren't able to access the WiFi until Tues. am. and we wish the bath towels were a bit larger - couldn't wrap it around you. Just a normal size towels would have been nice. Some of the hand towels looked new because they had the inspection tags on them. Overall, a great vacation for relaxing and hanging at the beach.

Clean, great location; Please note managed by property company and not VRBO

Zero complaints about the property. Clean, well decorated, great beach location, condo building is well maintained. Only issue for me was when I realized after booking that the property is managed by a realty company. This means payments and communication are managed outside of VRBO, which I was not aware of at the time of booking. I was very worried about security of payments and contacted both the realty company and VRBO about this. VRBO should explicitly advertise that the listing will be managed outside of the platform at the time of booking. I had no idea where and how to make the second payment and had to reach out to the realty company for that info. I didn't receive emails and correspondence as needed from the realty company and placed several calls there asking for needed info about check-in, payment, etc. While at the property, dishwasher was broken. Realty company was very quick and responsive to get this addressed and replaced and it was appreciated. We also happened to be checking out a day early. Understandably they were not willing/able to issue any refund for this day. However, I also specifically called and asked about checking in a day early to compensate instead. I was told the unit was full and we could not check in a day early. The unit was not full as we had family staying in the condo next door and were aware it was empty. Overall, great property but clunky, messy communication with the managing realty company.

First visit to this area. Great Condo. Great Location. Great Vacation

This 3 bedroom condo fit our needs perfectly. The unit has been recently updated. We really enjoyed the beautiful sunsets from the balcony and appreciated the short walk to the beach. The right side of the balcony is behind palm trees which provides shade and privacy when wanted. The left end has good views of the ocean and pool. The unit has good internet service and a good selection of cable TV channels. This area is very quiet but only 7 miles south of the center of Clearwater and the Clearwater Aquarium (home of Winter the dolphin :) ). A perfect vacation. We plan on returning.
