Massive Construction Noise Monday through Friday ( to 5

The apartment itself was fine. Large, furniture good. Some infastucture was old and needed replacement such as sliding glass door. Could not close and lock. Broken/worn out. There is a water leak in the supply piping to the kitchen sink. We left towels around the sink to capture water leak. With the massive construction on first floor/parking garage there was open access to anyone emergency exit doors etc. open 24 hours. Gary Pearson

Relaxing family vacation

After a trying year it was nice to get back to normal. Making memories on the seaside. Enjoying our beachfront condo with beautiful sunsets. Lazy mornings and she’ll collecting.

Very nice unit with awesome beach on a very busy road

Made our reservations through VRBO last spring. Paid half and second half wasn't due until the middle of December. Got emails from Plumlee before the second half was due asking for second half payment of stay. Had no clue who this was and had to call VRBO to find out who they were. Why are they asking for the second half payment before it was due? After that VRBO kept sending emails about the second half. This is a decent condo in an older building. Had everything that was promised in the advertisement. Nice view from the patio. Has a nice pool and hot tub. Has natural gas grills for cooking which we enjoyed. The beach was very nice. Not wild about there not being sidewalks along the road. There are designated walking and biking lanes right next to the traffic lanes!! Not the issue of the owner, but our daughter found a 3 ounce fishing weight in her sheets of the twin bed she was sleeping in. The bed also smelled. Obviously the sheets were not changed after the last guest!!!! The shower curtain in the master bathroom was dirty. The tile floors were also pretty dirty throughout the whole place. Again, I'm not putting blame on the owner of the unit, but he needs to get on the cleaners to do a better job.

Not planning to stay at a plumlee managed property again.

Very poor communication. Didn’t appreciate the attitude of the office staff. The parking situation is horrendous. The condo grounds need to be updated. Staff at property was nice.

Loved our 1st Time Stay at Indian Rocks Beach

Had such a great time; condo had everything we needed. Highly recommend Sand Castle II. The only negative thing I can say is the Parking situation. When you rent a 3 bedroom unit and have more than two families attend, parking should have been explained that it's on a first come basis. We drove around the first night for over an hour trying to find parking. This was not explained when we arrived.

Beachfront fun

This place is great for a family. The condo is right on the beach. The pool and hot tub was great. It comfortably slept 4 adults and 2 children. My children loved waking up and going right out to the beach to search for shells. I loved that I could watch them from the balcony. The beach was never crowded and was a great place to relax. The place itself could use a deep clean, but overall was a great place to stay. I would recommend Slyce Pizza, Lulu's, Crabby Bill's, and Haze ice cream which are all within walking distance. My main disappoints were that you could not exchange your used towels for cleans ones without a huge price tag from the Management company (we stayed a week), so we had to go buy laundry soap and do a load of towels (just what I want to do on vacation). We also had to go buy paper towels and toilet paper as not enough was provided to last a family of 6 for one week.

Clean Get Away

This condo was clean and had everything we needed. The only disappointment was not being able to take our dog on the beach. When I asked if I could bring my dog to the condo, I wish the owner would have told me about the rule if no dogs allowed on the beach. It was very disappointing.

Great Location, Comfortable Stay

Indian Rocks Beach is the hidden gem of the Suncoast and this corner Gulf-front unit was the perfect retreat. What impressed: The kitchen was well stocked with pots, specialty utensils, blender and the like. What could be better: Towels and sheets were motel average. But to be fair, the king bed was comfortable. Overall: Highly recommended.

Fun

The condo was very spacious, we really enjoyed the balcony. I think it needs a good spring cleaning and the kitchen could use new utinsels and dinnerware. We had no issues and really had a good time.

Sand Castle II Served Our Needs Well

We wanted a good location, accessible to FL West Coast Spring Training games, and also a nice beach spot on the Gulf Coast. This Sand Castle II unit provided both. Arrival and check-in was competently handled by the ladies at Plumly Real Estate, just up the road from Sand Castle. Their resources and amenities, including free bikes and movie DVD rentals, were a nice touch and added value to our stay. The unit itself served our needs with comfortable furniture, TV's and appliances that worked, and, being a corner unit, a nice wraparound outdoor deck for morning coffee and evening sunset watching. Beach access was easy. There are plenty of comfy beach chais lounges with canopies to rent - pay the $25 and they're yours for the day. If you like walking, the beach goes for miles north or south, with plenty of firm sand along with gulls, pelicans, herons, and other indigenous sea birds to photograph along the way. Sand Castle II also provides good restaurant access. The Pub is right across the street, Crabby Bills is about a mile north, and there are plenty of options driving south. We especially enjoyed Johns Pass Village and Boardwalk in Madeira Beach. Try the Mad Beach Craft Brewing Company. Great brew and food - sit outside to avoid the noise! A few quibbles: This unit is on the 3rd floor, very near the pool and hot tub. The latter is very popular all day and well into the evening. We could hear hot tub conversations clearly in the master bedroom. Nothing rowdy, but the noise did detract from an otherwise peaceful location. There are also no recycling bins or facilities in this building - everything has to go in the trash, apparently. Trained as we are to separate our bottles, cans, and paper, it wasn't easy being "green"! Finally, there was no ice in the icemaker when we arrived, so I had to go out and buy some to get us through. What's a condo on the beach without an icy evening cocktail? Thanks to Richard for sharing this lovely location!

Great Condo, Excellent Views and Location!

This is my fourth visit to the Indian Shores area and my first time renting a condo. Took the whole family this time and needed a large, comfortable place to stay: this condo exceeded my expectations! More than enough room for six adults and my daughters dog. Very comfortable beds and furniture. We liked the palm tree's just off the balcony and the amazing view of the Gulf. Very clean pool and hot tub area with the beach a step away! The Pub restaurant is across the street ( right on Intercostal waterway, great food and drinks) and there are so many other restaurants and bars within minutes from the condo: try Guppy's and Crabby Bills. Richard, the owner, is a great guy to deal with and responds to all your e-mails and phone calls in a timely manner. The folks who manage the rental property, Plumlee Vacations, were excellent as well. This was a great family vacation and recommend to those who want a relaxing, beach vacation. Thank you, Richard.

nice condo with lots of room. Great wrap around balcony

We always enjoy this condo but was disappointed in the cleanliness this time .dirt and dust in the corners of all rooms and ceing fans and ceilings themselves had dust in every room. I wish they would cut down some of the palm trees. You pay for gulf front and because of all the trees you can barely see the water. Those things Asideit is a very convenient location and nice condo. Furniture is very comfortable.

Beautiful Condo Gorgeous Beach Front Location

Just spent a week here in May 2015. The condo has been nicely updated, including new leather LR furniture. The balcony is where you will spend your time, so peaceful and relaxing. It has a wrap around balcony and gives you a view of the intercoastal waterway across the street. The pool and hot tub are just steps away from the elevator, as is the beach. This is an end unit, which we found to be nice and quiet. We travel with our dog and it is very pet friendly too! Plumlee Realty that handles the condo is close to the location and very helpful. Also, they had free bikes for the day and free DVD'S for use. One restaurant across the street, but you can ride the trolley up to Clearwater beach or down to St. Pete beach. Pay by the day nominal charge and very, very frequent stops. Also, do not miss the pizza a Slyce, it is amazing. Perfect to eat on the balcony waiting for one of the gorgeous sunsets. I was very impressed and I live only 18 miles from the gulf a bit south of this location. We will be back again.

Great views and comfortable beds.

We truley love this condo. We have been here 3 years running and will probably come back next year. The condo is comfortable and is pet friendly. There are lots of good restrauants very close and the rental company is very nice to work with. The only improvement would be new couches. The people who stay here put on suntan oil and then sit on the microfiber couches. It makes them look very soiled. We always put sheets over them when we are there. All in all a very nice condo

BABIES IN POOL AND HOT TUB....

The condo was fair...not as clean as i expected...I think the thing that really got me was babies were in the pool and hot tub....and people had glass by the side of the pool.....for the money.. it is not as luxurious as stated....nevertheless,,, we enjoyed it....except...MY HUSBAND LEFT HIS SHOES AT THE STEPS TO THE BEACH ( 50 $ SLIP ONS)..AND SOME ONE STOLE THEM......now we have traveled many places and this has never happend.....

Great family condo. Has a wonderful view.

My family stayed here in July of 2011. The condo is very spacious and comfortable. It is handy to many attractions and restaurants. We have a dog who travels with us and it is very pet friendly. We will be returning next year.

just spent last week here and it was perfect...

this condo has a wrap-around deck that allows you to see both the Gulf and the waterway. Full amenities inside and a pool and spa downstairs. Elevator building and just steps from the beach. A wonderful place and we're going to stay here again next year.
