The apartment is very nice, well done finishes and not just a pile of Ikea furniture. Two flights of stairs take you between the living area (1st), bedrooms (2nd), and rooftop deck (3rd).
Really nice TV and lounging area downstairs. Very quiet neighborhood. I got the impression that other apartments are either not rented out or maybe are also short-term rentals. Great coffee shop right outside the door.
Comfy beds and bedding.
Only critique is that the communication with the owner was a little confusing. It seemed we were getting lots of canned responses and one time got a response from someone with a different name than the owners. We had dealt with some family illness and missed the first day/night of the trip. I asked if we could maybe stay later the last day and received a response to "check in that morning." We ended up just leaving at the standard time but it felt like we were interacting with a robot not a person. At the end of the day, not a huge deal since the place was nice and the inconvenience wasn't their fault, but certainly would have appreciated some human touches.
