The main level, accessed by just one step from the paved parking pad, features an open great room with airy vaulted ceilings, a floor-to-ceiling gas fireplace with a big TV mounted above and doors on either side leading to the deck, and a selection of leather furniture facing the views and fireplace. The kitchen has stainless steel appliances, granite counters, and lots of cabinets full of everything you'll need to prepare delicious meals and snacks that you can enjoy at the 6-person dining table nearby.
There's fun for all ages to be had here! On the lower level you'll find a deck with a shuffleboard table, fireplace with TV above, sofa, and a bar-height counter with two stools. Step outside to the lower level deck and kick back in a hammock or take a dip in the covered hot tub, the perfect places to relax away your cares. And on the main level deck you'll find a selection of cushioned furniture around a gas firetable, the perfect place to kick back and enjoy the ambiance of the mountains while you take in the stunning views. There's also a gas grill and two patio tables here, one of which is under a fully covered pergola with a TV.
Time for bed? Fore The View offers five welcoming sleeping areas. On the main level is the master suite with King bed and ensuite with tiled shower, as well as a Queen bedroom and a twin-over-full bunk bedroom. These two bedrooms share a full bathroom with tub/shower. Upstairs in the semi enclosed loft you'll find another King bed with attached bathroom with tiled shower. And on the lower floor is a room with two Queen beds and a hall bathroom with tub/shower, as well as a full sized sleeper sofa in the den.
With everything that Fore The View has to offer, you might not ever want to leave this haven! If you do, you'll be just moments away from all the delicious local dining Beech Mountain has to offer, as well as minutes to the entrance of Beech Mountain Ski Resort for both winter fun and the annual Autumn At Oz celebrations. Downtown Banner Elk and the rest of the High Country are just a short drive away, as well. It's located just a short distance from the home is the Beech Mountain Club where guests can enjoy access to Private Restaurants, Championship Golf, Professional Tennis, and a heated pool to name just a few amenities. Guest passes must be requested and paid for in advance and limitations may apply. Additionally, the Buckeye Recreation Center and numerous trout fishing streams are located close by and we can even connect you with the best local fly fishing guides. Guests also enjoy private access to the Gated Winter Road which offers a shorter route to and from Banner Elk so you can even experience more activities including Horseback Riding, UTV tours, an Alpine Roller Coaster, White Water Rafting and Tubing Trips, Dining, Shopping, and so much more.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
-Due to the elevation, Beech Mountain requires all guests during the winter months (Nov-April) come equipped with good tires, 4WD or AWD vehicles, and possibly snow chains.
-Please note that the owners of this home use security cameras to monitor the exterior of their home to ensure it remains safe when unoccupied. No cameras are aimed at the bedrooms, doors, or windows.
- All BRMR homes offer well stocked kitchens with all utensils needed to cook meals. There is also a "starter set" of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, several garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two. We do not provide hair dryers. Towels and linens will be provided.
- Check in is after 4pm and Checkout is by 10am
- Must be at least 25 years old to reserve. This person is required to be the person signing the agreement and must be one of the persons staying in the property for the reserved dates.
- No smoking inside the home. No trace of smoking left outside the home.
- Do not leave food or trash outside as it could attract animals. All trash must be bagged and placed in the trash receptacle indicated in the Welcome Book inside the house or your digital guidebook.
- No parties or gatherings above the posted occupancy allowed at any time. Keep outside noise respectable.
- 4WD/AWD and/or chains recommended during winter (Nov-March) for all homes. Travelers visiting during the winter months where inclement weather may be possible should come prepared with an AWD or 4WD vehicle, and chains may also be required if it snows. No refunds, allowances, or date changes will be given to travelers who are not prepared with the proper vehicle, as outlined in the Rental Agreement.

-This home allows up to 2 mature, well-trained dogs (maximum weight limit allowed is 50 pounds) with an additional pet rent of $25.00 per pet per night plus tax. Pets other than dogs are not permitted.
-CANCELLATION POLICY: Bookings canceled within 24 hours of their creation will receive a full refund of payments. Bookings canceled more than 24 hours after their creation are not entitled to a refund unless the reservation dates are rebooked to another guest. All bookings are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.
