4Bedrooms/2 Baths, Sleeps 9, Lakefront w/ dock. The dock is shared with the owner.
A Relaxing place to spend the week on beautiful Lake Norman? This home is a very nice and clean. Enjoy beautiful views of the lake from the seating area of the dock & pier! Across the cove you’ll find “The Landing Restaurant, Bar & Marina” where you can launch your boat, enjoy great food, cocktails and live entertainment throughout the summer!

This home is nestled in a great shady 1/2-acre lot with deep water dock and quick access to the main channel, food, entertainment and all of the amenities you’d expect. The house is tastefully furnished and has a king size master with its own En Suite bathroom including garden tub and separate shower. There are 2 other guest rooms with full size beds and another kids 'fish camp' themed bedroom with 1 bunk beds and a single bed (3 total single beds). The home also includes a large fully stocked kitchen and two separate living areas with a wood burning fireplace. Wifi and Cable TV are provided for your convenience and entertainment. (There are 4 flat screen TV's). This home includes everything you need other than toiletries and food. All kitchen utensils, linens, towels and even games are included (cornhole!). Outdoors you will find two separate decks both with patios and chairs. There is a cement walk to the dock which is just steps away. 4 Kayaks are included with your stay at no additional charge and are a great way to get a little exercise and explore our protected cove. The outdoor fire pit is always a favorite gathering place, for roasting marshmallows. We look forward to your family sharing your next vacation memories with us here at our home on beautiful Lake Norman.
The driveway may be shared with a 20ft travel trailer. It is just parked there and can be rented. Just message owner. The dock is shared with the owner, which may or may not be there during your visit.

Wonderful Stay

Our check in process was super easy. The view from the house was beautiful. The house has everything you need. The firepit outside was best. Washer and dryer are always a plus. Lori the host responds to you very quickly. The location is great. Near restaurants, grocery stores and many other great sites to see. I would definitely stay here again.

Nice place, had some tiny ants mostly in bathroom but overall not bad for being by lake for bugs. Kayaks are good and provided some good times. Pool table a little shaky, need some new sticks. Overall nice family time spent together.

Fun time in Sherrills Ford

We had a relaxing stay in Lori’s lake house. Kitchen was well appointed with every gadget you could need, including some condiments. Beds were comfortable and our family of 5 loved having their own room. The pool table was great nightly entertainment with our teens. Lori was easy to work with and quick to respond. Thank you for sharing your property with us!

Nice getaway

The outside did have years of spiderwebs on the porch and the lights. Had an ant problem inside and outside which was very annoying. Place is old but decorated very cute. Definitely could use a little love to fix something’s.

Summer Vacation

We truly enjoyed this vacation. This home was located right next to a great wakeboarding cove that allowed for us to go out whenever we wanted. The lake was never too crowded, and the water was like glass most of the time. The home was perfect for relaxing, spending time together, making meals, and sleeping. It was clean and there was room for everyone. The dock was great, we didn't have to worry about our boat at all and the kids spent hours fishing off the dock too. There are multiple areas to sit outside, the deck near the home, the one near the dock, and the fire pit. Wonderful location and home, we would absolutely stay here again.

Enjoyable lake House

Overall the stay was good😁. There are pros and cons to the stay that I will list. Pros.... The host was wonderful. She emailed me immediately on all questions I had. She called me when responding to questions for immediate feedback. She was sweet, friendly, kind, understanding, and honest. She was great!! The location was great! It was close to all necessary places/needs. The lot was a nice size to enjoy outdoor things such as the lake, kayaking, swimming, bonfires, cornhole, two decks to enjoy the views- sun rises/sets, and cooking on the grill. The inside of the house was clean, quaint, access to crock pot, air fryer, toaster, blender, family board/card games, comfortable beds, extra blankets, access to online streaming on TV's, and access to newer washer/ dryer. Cons... The outside on both decks, chairs, and fire pit area were full of insects/spiderwebs, ants, beetles, spiders. The host did mention that she wasn't sure when it was scheduled to be sprayed but it definitely had not yet prior to our arrival. We had to buy some insect repellent sprays in order to enjoy the time on the deck, sit in chairs and cook s'mores at the fire pit. It helped somewhat with using the sprays, but a bit annoying to have to deal with it, and could have been prevented by having it done a week or so before our stay. The lights inside/outside of the house- on decks and walkaway to lake were in need of repair. Some lights/pulps in fixtures were either not working or very dim.

Pefect little lake house

My family and I had a great stay. The house may not be one of the big fancy places on the lake, but it was just perfect for us. If you don't need all the bells and whistles for your stay on Lake Norman, this might be the place for you. It was clean and comfortable and right on the lake for a great price.

Perfect relaxing getaway

The house was perfect for a group of 10 or less . Water is easily accessible. The kayaks were a huge hit with everyone. Cant wait to go bacm.

Beautiful location and Great host!

The property was absolutely beautiful. We are a traveling race team so we use Vrbo a lot and it's often difficult to find affordable properties that are pleasing to come back to after 18-hour days at the track. each night after the race we would cook dinner for our group and hang out on the back porch and dock. It didn't break the bank while making a work week feel like a vacation. We accidentally thought we locked our key inside and Lori replied immediately to help. She checked in multiple times to make sure we had everything we needed. 10/10

Relaxing Family time!

We had a wonderful Fall break! The property had everything we needed plus more! Lisa even made sure we had a crock pot. The location was excellent and had great access to the Mooresville area, close to family. Will definitely stay again!

Because of the sense of clarity and peace that we find when we are there. Looking across Lake Norman in the early morning as the sun is rising and steam lifts from the warm glassy water into the cool humid air is just magical. There is something so peaceful and beautiful about it. So calm and so relaxing. Our home is the perfect place to slow down and take the opportunity to enjoy life. We hope that you will agree.
