We both grew up in the South with a love for the out-of-doors and a natural environment. Alaska exceeded our expectation of the real definition of 'A Natural Out-of-Doors Environment'. It is our paradise on earth and our home for a lifetime. We both are pretty crafty with our hands, we love to build, fix, and make things better in and out of doors. We love to fish, hunt, walk, ride 4-wheelers, plant gardens (and watch the fruits of our labor produce) backpack, motorcycling, bicycling, cook outs, most of all we love people. We are so similar but very different which makes for a pretty cool pair. We both have contributed close to 60 years between the two of us in support of our armed forces at home and abroad. We are pretty diverse in that we are world travelers and have lived around the United States and abroad. We have raised very successful children here in Alaska and we love the splendid beauty of nature that Alaska offers. It is very quite except for any work being accomplished on the property during waking hours. You can relax inside, on your balcony, in the yard or at the park which is almost in our front yard. You can cook inside on the stove or outside on the grill. You can fish at nearby lakes and streams and bring your catch home and put it on the barbecue grills available for your use. You can even serve your meals on the front yard or at the park. We are very close to hospitals and clinics. It is a short walk to nearby restaurants, strip malls, library, Walmarts, washerteria and a movie theatre. Our apartment is just like living with the amenities of home away from home.
