AVOID BOOKING WITH THIS HOST
I had a terrible experience with this property and host. We had a confirmed booking, and just 10 minutes before check-in, the host canceled on us. No notice, no apology, just a last-minute cancellation that completely ruined our plans.One hour before the cancellation, I spoke to the host directly, and she requested that we send copies of our photo IDs, credit cards, and even a selfie to an email address before confirming our stay. This raised some serious red flags, so I questioned her about it. Instead of addressing my concerns, she abruptly canceled our reservation stating there were plumbing issues.I checked other reviews for her properties in the area, and unfortunately, it seems this isn’t an isolated incident. She has received several negative reviews at other locations for similar issues, which makes me wonder how this person is still allowed to host.I would strongly advise against booking with this host. Unprofessional, untrustworthy, and not worth the hassle. There are plenty of other great options on VRBO with hosts who actually respect their guests.
