Botanist Bungalow in Carolina Trace by the Lake🏌🏼

Enjoy the Botanist Bungalow. A peaceful home in the gated golf community of Carolina Trace. This 2 bed/2 bath home is equipped with comfortable beds, forest views, and house plants. It has a pull out bed in the living room for parties of 5 or 6. In the summer enjoy the community pool or walk by the lake.

If golfing is your thing, you're in the right spot! Courses like Tobacco Road (20mins) and Pinehurst(40mins) are near.

Our home is also a great place to stay for local Sanford/CT weddings!
The space
This property has a primary bedroom with a King Size bed and two closets. Attached to the primary bedroom is a bathroom with a tub/shower combo, a stone top vanity, and a linens closet.

The second bedroom is furnished with a Queen Size bed and has one closet. This bedroom also has a full bathroom attached to it with a walk in shower. This bathroom also serves as the guest bathroom.

The dining room has a large refinished antique table that comfortably seats six. Off the dining room are sliding glass doors which lead out to the back deck with the picturesque forest views. You're truly in the land of the pines!

Next to the dining room is the living room. In this space enjoy the built in shelves with many propagated plants and other artwork. The TV is a Roku smart TV so you will be able to access all of your normal streaming services by logging in to the them through the guest portal. We have also provided a record player with a small collection of our favorite musical finds, a few games, adult books, children's books, and a little dry bar area. The living room has a large couch, a loveseat, and a comfy accent chair. There also is a glass desk situated in front of the front window for a pleasant work-from-home experience. We hope you relax and enjoy this space to the fullest!

The kitchen is fully equipped for all of your cooking needs. There are plates, bowls, pots, pans, baking dishes, utensils, and more. We also have provided a brand new Cuisinart coffee pot for 12 cup or single cup brews. If French press coffee is more your style, we have provided one for guest use as well.

The laundry room has a full size washer and dryer that you are welcome to use as needed. We also have extra stored towels and beach towels if you decide to enjoy the community pool.

Good for work and play

My wife and I were down for three days, two of which she worked remotely from the house while I enjoyed myself at a nearby event. With the sizeable dining room table and WiFi, she never missed a beat. The neighborhood is quiet with plenty of attractive vegetation. We would happily stay there again.

Cozy property

This home was very comfortable. It is a great location for dining and shopping. The downtown area was not far away. This home made spending time with our grandchildren very enjoyable. Our host Cathie was very accommodating. Her and her husband made sure that we had our favorite News channel app preloaded on the television. We highly recommend!

Great Place to kick back

The house was clean and in great condition. There was plenty of cookware and glassware. The area was really beautiful. I appreciated the treat basket, it was nice to have a snack after a long trip without having to go straight to the store.

Cute home in a great neighborhood.

This house was well decorated and perfectly located in a great neighborhood, close to shops and dining in Sanford. Highly recommended.

Celebrating Christmas

Traveling from out of town to celebrate Christmas Eve with our local children and grandchildren. Easily accessible and perfect size for our gathering. Kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to prepare a delicious meal. Great host! And she communicated several times to make sure we had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend this property and would stay here again.

This property is inspired by my major in Plant Biology. I have propagated plants to make the home feel immersed in nature. I am constantly adding to the collection. Also we are in the gated community of Carolina Trace, so you can see the beautiful Country Club, enjoy the Lake view, and relax by the pool in the summertime.
