Modern Cabin in Shagbark with Hot Tub - Pet Friendly

This cabin accommodates 9 guests and features a shuffleboard, arcade, and a secluded deck where you can unwind in the hot tub, enjoying the spectacular views. Situated in a stunning, private gated community with security, it boasts a pool, tennis, basketball, and pickleball courts, a pavilion, and creeks. Its proximity to PF, Dollywood, Gatlinburg, and the Great Smoky Mountains makes it an ideal retreat for a mountain escape.

Smoky Retreat Cabin is a remodeled modern cabin located in the private, gated community of Shagbark off of Walden's Creek road on top of a hill surrounded by forest. Like any other amazing cabins in the mountains there are steep narrow paved roads to the cabin. The "tree house" cabin as our son likes to call it because it looks like you are in the trees is just 8 minutes from Parkway in Pigeon Forge and 15 - 20 min from Dollywood which makes it an easy drive to get to all the action.

As you walk into the cabin, you are greeted with an open space containing the living room with a sofa sleeper, dining area, wood burning fireplace, and arcade with over 200 games and the fully equipped and stocked kitchen. To the left of the kitchen is a full bath with a tub/shower. The master bedroom is ground level with a king bed and a twin over full bunk bed. The laundry room is located in the very spacious master. The back door located in the master bedroom will lead you to the hot tub and deck with the amazing views of the Smoky Mountains.

The staircase leads you to a "chill area" with a big screen TV, games and shuffleboard. The second bedroom is located on the second level. It has a queen bed in the room and a full in the bonus room. The spacious bathroom has a tub/shower combo.

*NO REFUNDS for power outages, road closures or weather-related issues. Keep in mind, you are in the mountains with a lot of trees and steep roads.

There is also a portable crib, highchair and a few toys for the younger kids.

The driveway is shared with the neighbor but there is plenty of room between to 2 houses. Larger vehicles will have to do a 2-point turn.

*Bears have been seen on property like any other property in the Smoky Mountains.

*The community has tennis/basketball courts, a fitness track and a seasonal swimming pool for guests to enjoy while staying in Shagbark! The main road into Shagbark follows the gorgeous Walden's Creek which extends all the way through the neighborhood. The security gate fee is included in your cleaning fee and there are only 2 vehicles allowed.

* Shagbark is a private gated resort so upon your arrival you will need to send me your email address and the names of each driver so you can access the neighborhood.
