Spacious Mississippi Oasis

SPOTLESS three bedroom lower level private oasis just a few hundred feet from the banks of the Mississippi River. Centrally located between Crosslake, Breezy Point, and Crosby, Minnesota Located in the lower level of a spacious beautiful home. Owners occupy upper level. New beds. View of where the Pine River meets the Mississippi. 450 lakes in the Brainerd area with five boat landings less than 15 minutes. Famous Cuyuna trails close by, with fishing, boating, kayaking, and tubing on the water. Snowmobile or ATV right out of the driveway on the roads and to the local restaurants and trails. We have about 3 acres in the back to just relax and enjoy alone, or with your family and friends!

Grandkids Getaway

Had a nice 2 night stay with my family including grandkids, you have a perfect set up so no one is walking over each other, nice touch with the tv’s in each room as weather didn’t cooperate for more outdoor activities.

Great place!

A great place to stay near Crosby. Very clean. Exactly as described. Peaceful spot out in the country with the Mississippi River a short walk out the back door.

Great rental for large group

House was perfect for our two families. Beds and bathrooms for everyone. Lots of seating for meals and relaxing. Big kitchen with everything you’d need. Ping pong table and hot tub were added bonus.

Great Getaway Property

This was our second stay at this lovely property with 3 generations (grandkids are all pre-teen). The location is great because of the feeling of solitude while still being only 12 minutes away from area activities. Twice we saw deer traveling through and the kids were happy again to see Miles the cat. The check in and check out process was a breeze and the property is very clean and had everything we needed. Last Minute Winter Getaway

It was our last minute winter getaway with the snowmobiles before spring comes. We had an amazing time, the trails were amazing. We will definitely be back next winter! Also, thank you guys so much for letting us bring our two labs!

Bliss on the Mississippi

We had a wonderful stay at Renee and Brandons VRBO. Perfect size for us. Our Kitties enjoyed meeting Miles the cat through the screen. Gave them something to do while we were out. Location is perfect for visiting Family and attending the Lake Area Music Festival. What a special treat. Absolutely 5 star for peace and Quiet!!!

Great Accommodations and Serene Location

We thoroughly enjoyed our short 2-night stay. Very clean and well organized. We appreciated all the little, well-thought-out items including ear plugs and homemade cookies upon arrival. We were there snowmobiling and had a great time. Will definitely keep this on our list for summer as the location is perfect. Thanks Renee and Brandon for everything!

Great location and so peaceful!

The property is exactly as described. Super comfortable! It was very clean and the check in and check out were a breeze. It had everything we needed. I was with my daughter and grandchildren and before we even left, the oldest (11) asked if we could stay there again next year. We will definitely be back! Thanks Renee for being a great host!

Renee was an awesome host. Extremely responsive and also had a plate of warm cookies waiting when we arrived. This was a perfect getaway for my family as well as the doggos. Given we stayed in March, we weren’t able to access the river, but we certainly be back in the summer time!

Loved our stay

When first booking we thought we had access to the whole place including the garage, although that was not true we still really enjoyed our stay! We had access to the whole underside of the place! Which was plenty big for us four! With a nice big/easy access for our truck and trailer! The house was very clean and tidy! With all of the dishes, towels, and bedding we could need! We also really enjoyed the sweet surprise of having homemade cookies!!

an excellent stay

the extra stuff in the bathroom was great. body wash ect. plenty of towels.the TV 's were great. the burn pit with wood provided was great. no problem with temp as it was very hot outside. being from superior,wi we arn't used to it.overall you folks have done a fantastic job with your vrbo.the mosquitos were thick but it was not as bad as superior

Comfortable and private

The place was very comfortable and clean with plenty of space. Although the view from the glass patio door was just snow (Lovely MN), the bright sunshine came thru perfectly. Traveling with 2, two-year-olds we appreciated the space they had to play in and the fact they didn't have to be so quiet. As nice as it was, I am sure the place is amazing in the summer! The host was gracious, asking us if we needed anything, and even left us cookies :)

It was perfect!

My family and I stayed in this home while we were in the area for our son's wedding. There were 5 of us and we had plenty of room! The hosts were very attentive to our needs, but gave us plenty of privacy. We didn't get a lot of time at the house, since we were busy with our son's wedding, but while we were there, everything was perfect. It was so nice waking up to such a beautiful view and we loved the sweet kitties that visited the yard each day. The hosts have thought of everything...we had everything we needed! I wish it wasn't so far away from us (we're in Oklahoma) because I'd love to go back and relax there! It is so beautiful and peaceful. We highly recommend staying here! You won't be disappointed.

great home base for Cuyuna State Rec Area bike trails

Beautiful property in close proximity to awesome bike trails in the Cuyuna Country State Recreation Area. 2 businesses nearby with excellent options for bike rentals. Peaceful spot to sit out back by the river and watch the wildlife after a hard day. Convenient to have washer & dryer. Well-appointed full kitchen that we didn't even take much advantage of since our stay was so short, but we will if we come back. We didn't even get on the water despite multiple beautiful lakes. Good excuse to come back. Several of the restaurants close by look like bar & grill types but the food was better than expected. Thanks so much. We really enjoyed our stay.

Peace and quiet

The property is very well maintained. The view outside us of the confluence of the Pine and Mississippi Rivers. The Mississippi is a phenomenal resource for this country and it was a deloght to see it at this stage. Each morning we were greeted by a mist rising up from the river, an eerie and beautiful sight. Our cats enjoyed looking out, too. There are two resident outdoor cats, one friendly, the other more aloof. Although the owners live on site we never saw them or heard them. They were very respectful of our privacy. We stayed there to attend the Lakes Area Music Festival and will probably stay there again next year.

Clean, Lots of Parking

Clean, comfy with great parking for our truck and boat trailer. The boys were convinced the outdoor cat is a skinwalker, but other than that GREAT.

Beautiful Scenery

House was inviting. Very easy check in. There are a pair of Bald Eagles that stayed around by the Mississippi River banks. We also had excellent weather for the end of November. It was above freezing everyday. Very quiet & peaceful! There is a part of the Paul Bunyan trail within 10 miles. Wish there would of been a way to control temperature. But we did message them & they did turn up for us. Overall a wonderful experience!
