Weekend with family

Four of us stayed in the house. Upon arrival there's a strong disinfectant smell that was a bit off putting but at the same time reassuring. The beds were comfortable the house is very roomy. We had a large lunch with family and games that worked beautifully. The towels were stained and there were no trash cans anywhere except the kitchen. The coffee machine was great and the TV options were great as well. I'd stay there again but please get rid of the stained towels.

Great Place!

My family and I came to stay here for our vacation. We attended Taylor Swifts concert at the State Farm Stadium. The stadium was about 20min away from the house. We also went to the Zoo which was also a 20min drive. The neighborhood seemed calm, we did hear a helicopter twice flying around but that’s nothing new since we are from South Central Los Angeles :) The living area was spacious and clean, honestly all the house was great! I was in contact with the property owner (Lana) and she would respond quickly to my concerns. They do have a ring camera but only on the outside front entrance, it is stated on the description before booking for anyone who is worried about cameras on the premises. Overall if we ever find ourselves in Arizona again we would definitely book this house! Everything was close by! If you’re out of town like us, we recommend eating at Culver’s! The burgers are so so good and the custard is delicious :))! Thank you Lana & I truly hope you did take care of that privacy window issue in the restroom..

Really nice stay

The house is well-apointed, clean, comfortable beds, great large open floorplan for family to hang out, beautiful back yard area inside a privacy fence. Game room was really fun to be able to game together in a space out of the way of the others wanting to watch tv. I think it fair to say that the location is very convenient, but the immediately surrounding area is a little sketchy if you are from a non-urban or more small-town area. I have been to Phoenix many times (my son and hjs wife live there) and this is by no means the worst part of Phoenix, but we encountered gun-fire somewhere within a one-block radius in the middle of the night (non-holiday--part of the community likes to shoot guns into the air on holidays), and a one-hour police helicopter search of the neighborhood the house is located in. I hate to bring this up, but we are gun owners and did not feel unsafe in this neighborhood, but for folks who are perhaps a little more sensitive to this issue, I think it important to bring up. It has a narrow one-car garage so you can park a standard sized vehicle inside at night, and you can access the house from inside the garage. As far as convenience, nice central location that puts you relatively close to all parts of Phoenix, Scottsdale, Mesa, etc. I was about 25 minutes to the airport, 2 minutes to the highway. We had 6 in our group--4 staying there and 2 coming in daily. If you look at the photos and see only that sofa in front of the tv in the main living area, we added seating by bringing over the orange chairs and one of the comfortable outdoor chairs to watch movies together. In other words, you can make it work easily with a larger group to gather. Kitchen was great, they had everything we needed (except a corkscrew :)), all of it was good quality and we cooked great meals there. Really nice house, price was great for what you get, and location was very convenient. We got to enjoy 72 degree temps while the rest of the country froze, sitting out back playing games.
