Getaway

Our family had enough room for everyone to sleep comfortably. It was quiet. We enjoyed the time together. We used the fire pit, swings and everyone too a turn on the rope line. Since it was on Thanksgiving we were unable to use the amenities. Would go back in the summer time as a family vacation. The only thing the kitchen needs a useable can opener and sharp knifes. We had a nice time.

Fun Family Getaway

This house was perfect for a Labor Day family vacation! This house had plenty of rooms for our group of 11 to spread out and have a relaxing weekend. While the kitchen is on the smaller side, it had a nice supply of pots, pans, and utensils. The best part of the house would have to be the backyard. It was much larger than expected with a zip line that kept the kids busy for hours. The creek that runs through the back of the yard was also a nice surprise and provided a relaxing ambiance while sitting around the fire pit. This house is a gem and we will be staying again!

Cozy Family Vacation

My family of 12 stayed at this home to celebrate my parents 70th & 80th Birthday - yup their birthday is the same day! The posting was exactly as described, but I loved the fact that there were 3 bedrooms and a bathroom on each floor. Also, we loved the fact we had our choice of swimming pools, and a resturant and tiki bar in the development. Miriam quickly reaponded to any issues that may have come up and checking in and out was a breeze. We would stay again.

Had a great time but lots of room for improvement

We had 6 adults and 7 kids, ages 2-6, in our party. We chose this house because it actually had room for all of us! The pictures were representative of the house; no surprises. Except for the zip line in the back; that was an aweseome bonus that all of the kids loved! There were a few things that were less than ideal: 1) The cleanliness of the house and yard. Not agregious, but when I used TP to wipe a mosquito off the bathroom floor, the paper was then very dirty, meaning the floor hadn't been properly cleaned. The wooded yard, which we did ultimately enjoy, was strewn with all kinds of debris and stinky rotting mushrooms. 2) The kitchen felt jam-packed with pots and pans and decor, so there was no where to put all the things we brought with us. (It seems the owner/manager could eliminate about half of the pots and pans and free up space for the various things renters need space for.) 3) Seems like very little thought went into what furniture went into the rooms and how it was arranged. For example, my husband and I stayed in the room with a queen and crib for our 2yo. The nightstand was probably 2ft wide, meaning the corner of the mattress was right in front of the door, and you had to step over it to get over to the crib. We turned the table sideways and moved the bed over for our stay, but why not just have a much smaller table? 4) In bedrooms, not a single lightswitch turned on a light, and floor lamps, standing fans, and dehumidifiers made it very hard to move around.

You will have 2 wood burning fireplaces, a pool table, a screened porch and a deck. Outside you will find a fire pit which you can use. There is also a creek that runs through the backyard. You will also have access to the amenities that the community has to offer.

Within the community you will have access to 4 full-size outdoor swimming pools, 2 indoor swimming pools that are opened year round, a Tiki Bar, 9 tennis courts, 2 basketball courts, a walking trail and a fitness center with a weight room. If you don't feel like cooking after a long day out, savor your favorite meal at the Top of the World Restaurant located right in the community
