House of Winds stay

Property is well kept & has great windows & upper patio deck views of Playas del Coco. Chantel was reachable via WhatsApp & via phone after we added the country code +506 to the numbers provided. We tried working with concierge service to book some things like taxi & sailing. The service was not responsive/ reachable on Sunday. We were able to reach by phone & through WhatsApp on Monday but language barrier presented from both sides & responsiveness was delayed. We figured out options ourselves & the rest of our stay was great. Would recommend renting a car (SUV) to get around to see other beaches nearby but be aware of a very steep drive to park at condo. Coco is walkable & there are taxis & sometimes Uber available to get you to places as well. Overall, I would recommend this place for staying at if you want to be near some grocers & services that might be less accessible in other locations nearby.

Born and raised in Costa Rica. Lived in Atlanta for 15 years and currently living in Playas del Coco in Guanacaste, Costa Rica. Very easy going and almost never home for work reasons. I am an attorney and the producer and host of a TV show in Guanacaste where we are quite involved in the community and love meeting new people although too busy to enjoy enough with them. Travel and finding new and interesting places is a hobby. Live Laugh Love is my motto!
