Discover our cozy townhouse nestled in Granby Ranch, where you can enjoy the best of skiing, hiking, and mountain adventures. With breathtaking views overlooking the golf course and western mountains, this home is the perfect getaway for families and small groups looking to relax and explore. With a short 5-minute walk to the Kicking Horse ski lift, you can skip the drive and head straight to the slopes! No matter the season, you’ll find our home a restful and rejuvenating retreat.

Located just 25 minutes past Winter Park on highway 40, Granby Ranch is one of Colorado's best kept secrets. We chose this location due to the significant number activities available year-round and the relaxing atmosphere without the large crowds found at the larger resorts. Whether it's skiing, tubing, biking, golfing, fishing or just kicking back and relaxing, you can find it all here in Granby Ranch.

For those looking for a little more action outside, this home is just a half mile from the Ski Granby ski lifts. Granby Ranch is designed and operated with families in mind. It is widely regarded as one of the best areas in Colorado to learn to ski or ride on acres of beginner slopes. Trails of varying levels of difficulty and terrain all lead back to the base area, so family and friends can easily meet back at the same place.

For warm-season recreation, Granby Ranch also offers mountain biking, golfing, and fishing. You can use the lift to get your bike up the mountain or to start a hike from the top going down the many trails running throughout the Ranch. The Granby Ranch Golf Course offers 18 holes along the Fraser River. Our guests also have access to the heated pool, community hot tub, and fitness center at the base of the Resort.

A supermarket is just 5 minutes away. If you choose to dine out, a number of great restaurants and bars are nearby at Granby Ranch Base Camp, Silvercreek, and the town of Granby.

Granby Ranch is within a 15 to 30-minute drive to Lake Granby, Shadow Mountain Lake, Grand Lake, and Rocky Mountain National Park. Winter Park town and ski resort is less than 30 minutes away for more skiing, biking, and hiking. Hot Sulphur Springs Spa and Resort is also nearby for soaking in warm mineral springs. More recreational and spa activities are also close by at Devil’s Thumb Ranch and the YMCA’s Snow Mountain Ranch.

Guests will have access to everything that our home has to offer: cozy furnishings, towels, linens, WiFi, cable and smart TVs, and a deck with amazing views. The kitchen, all living & sleeping areas, washer/dryer, deck and grill are available for your full use. Ample storage for ski, bike and golf equipment is available in the closet off the front porch.
Free parking for 3 vehicles is available.

The community pool, located near the entrance to the ski resort, is available for guest use and features a heated pool, hot tub and fitness center that are available year-round (see below for details).

All short term renters staying in the home must purchase a $15 day pass (subject to change) via credit card at the Ranch Hall to use the facilities. Children 8 and under are free. The pass is good for the entire day. Renters must present documents that show they are staying in a full benefit member home in order to purchase a pass. A VRBO/Airbnb or any other type of reservation confirmation with the address of the home will work as proof.

Local trails: Granby Ranch is a little different from other ski resorts on federal land. Consisting of trails on primarily private land, all guests riding or hiking on either cross country trails or our lift-accessed downhill network must possess a valid pass or ticket product. Guests must also sign a waiver. Rates and tickets are available on the Granby Ranch website. One exception to this requirement is the Granby-to-Fraser trail, which does not require a pass or waiver.

After a day on the slopes, warm up by the gas fireplace, stream your favorite shows on the Smart TVs, or challenge your group to a round of board games.

In the summer, take advantage of nearby hiking and mountain biking trails, golf at Granby Ranch, or cast a line in the Fraser River or Lake Granby for a relaxing afternoon of fishing. End your day on the back deck, where you can fire up the gas grill and enjoy a meal with stunning sunset views over the golf course and mountains.

You’ll also have access to Granby Ranch’s community amenities at The Ranch Hall (available with a paid daily pass), which includes a heated outdoor pool, hot tub, fitness center, and game room.

A vehicle is recommended to effectively reach and enjoy the area. If you arrive in Granby by the Amtrak Zephyr train from Denver, Avalanche Car Rentals can leave a car for you at the train station. Uber is also available if you call ahead.

We also enjoy the close access to so much Granby has to offer: hitting the links at the Granby Ranch Golf course in the summer, or walking to the lift to hit the slopes in the winter. Rocky Mountain National Park, Lake Granby, and Winter Park Ski Resort and so much more are just short drives away. We can walk to the ski lift, to hiking/mountain biking trails. While it is close to the best of Grand County, it is a quiet neighborhood and a great place to relax."
