Blackburn Bay Spring Break

The condo itself was nicely remodeled and comfortable overall. Pool was enjoyable but could have been cleaner. Tennis courts were completely off limits and unusable do to storm damage from last year (light poles knocked over, etc). The community grill in the pool area was damaged, rusted and not in condition to use. The condo is located a short drive to several great beaches, which was nice. Walkability from the condo is poor - need to walk along a busy road without sidewalks in order to get to a walking path or adjacent neighborhood. The condo host was a very good communicator and quickly addressed questions or issues that arose during our stay.

Perfect!

The apartment was clean and really nice, close to where we wanted to visit. Easy check in and check out. Highly recommend.

Disappointed

Condo clean and met out needs. Pool was dirty and not heated. Hot tub didn’t work till last 2 days. Tennis courts damaged by hurricane and not useable. Condo on busy road and no sidewalks so you could not walk to nearby restaurants. Will not stay there again.

Great condo and location if you’re looking for beaches!

Condo was exactly as advertised and all questions were answered promptly. There was a slight hiccup in we received instructions to use our phone number for access to the building and it turned out to be a different code but we called the property manager and received an immediate reply! The only thing we’d rate a little lower would be the guest room bed (our friends stayed in that room and said the bed was uncomfortable). The master bed was very comfortable but high to get in so if you’re short take note lol! We also wish there had been 2 sets of keys but other than that this place was wonderful!

Lots of little issues

Comfortable clean space, nicely appointed, with decent kitchen and large lanai. But realize the pool is NOT heated, rendering it useless December thru mid March. The hot tub leaks so it can only be filled enough to warm your legs and seat. Pool guy says it’s been that way for a long time. AC doesn’t work, coffee maker leaks, and some chairs can’t be safely used due to wobbly or broken legs.

Osprey Condo

The location of this condo is great; loved the Venice area and Nokomis Beach plus the outdoor pool was heavenly! The condo is lovely and hosts were responsive and very helpful. We really enjoyed our stay!

Misrepresented Property

The property was listed as having a heated pool and hot tub. The pool doesn't have a heater and the hot tub has been broken for 6 months according to Aqua Doc the pool maintenance company on site. The pool maintenance company also stated they did not anticipate the hot tub being in the order for another 6 months due to a leak in the lining.
